Great value, easy enrollment.
Based on the shopping I did, it was the best value. The actual enrollment was simple, so no complaints!

Melissa was very helpful but had to escalate the call to Lauren the manager and customer service in seattle and Lauren was able to answer all my questions concerning rate increase.
Melissa was very helpful but had to escalate the call to Lauren the manager and customer service in seattle, and Lauren was able to answer all my questions concerning rate increase. Five factors are considered and veterinary charges in my area are a big contributing factor. Lauren was on the phone with me for over an hour It was a difficult call, but labor intensive on her part. I understand everything now and I'm still happy with Trupanion. I needed to have increases in premium explained to me. Over, and over! Finally

Pet insurance is a must!
Thank goodness I have Trupanion pet insurance! They handle my claims quickly and deposit any reimbursement directly into my bank account. It gives me such piece of mind knowing that in case of emergency my expenses will be limited to my deductible and 90% of the remaining amount will be covered. Best decision I ever made!

Trupanion recommendation
The process of filling out a claim is easy and the responses are quick. As with all insurance, understanding coverages is a bit confusing. Overall, I’m quite happy with Trupanion. They’ve provided good coverage for our dog’s emergencies. The app is simple and easy to use. I will be signing up for Trupanion for all my future pets.

Healthy Paws offers peace of mind from financial worries
I've had Healthy Paws for 3 of my dogs and their customer service has been outstanding. Premiums aren't cheap but neither are the vet bills. It's good to know that when something happens to my dogs, I won't be stressed over the bills. Having to decide if it's financially feasible to get your dog the care it needs is a position that my pet insurance has eliminated. I don't ever want to be in a situation again of having to decide if I can afford the vet care in an emergency. Haven't had any problems with coverage as claims are quickly processed and reimbursements sent in a timely manner.

Can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws
I bought HP when Maggie was a 6 month old pup. Yes premiums have gone up, just like they did on my health insurance. I attribute the health of my 5 1/2 YO Golden Doodle to a team of great vets including my family vet, BluePearl Speciality Vets and Health Paws. March 2020 Maggie developed IMHA which is an immune system problem where her immune system was attacking her new red blood cells. Transfusions are a top gap measure of which there were 2. Steroids and an IVIg infusion saved her life. Health Paws was there for us. We have another 6 months before she is discharged. She is now healthy and back to her old self. All blood values are NORMAL! There was only one clam they rejected because the FDA classified the IVIg infusion as an experimental treatment even for humans. Costs so far are in excess of $10k.including my out of pocket. Don't regret having gone with Healthy Paws.
