I think most pet owners would agree you can't put a price on your furry friend but you can have insurance for peace of mind .
When my dog needed to be admitted to emergency care I was able to call trupanion and get a pre-approval to make it easier once my dog was released from hospital. Everyone you talk to at trupanion is knowledgeable concerned compassionate and caring. However much time you need to take with them to talk about what is going on they are there listening and assisting. Submitting claims online is super easy. Well worth the cost to have coverage for your furry friend. It's a piece of mind especially when you're going through things with them the bill is the last thing you have to worry about.

$35 Sign up fee uninformed
I am beyond grateful to have Ramona insured. That being said I was not made a aware of the sign up fee. Happy to pay it. I was only made aware once I signed up and received the email. It just puts a bad taste in my mouth. And frankly makes the company look bad. I say that because insurance companies get a bad reputation and it is expected by most. So to be made aware of this after I’ve registered and provided my banking information it’s deceptive. I know it’s done like that. Just see that “sign up fee” even though I did the signing up myself online, makes me feel I could get burned by Trupanion based on the fact I’ve enrolled her less than 48 hours ago and there is already a secret fee.

Trupanion Is the Best Pet Insurance on the Planet
I just can't say enough good things about Trupanion. We never had pet insurance before. After losing our last fur baby to cancer, and having no assistance to pay his bills, we decided we would do it right with the next one. We covered our pup from day one. While no one likes unexpected things to come up with their pets, things happen, and Trupanion is always there for us. The claims have been directly processed by our vet and literally paid within minutes. They are amazing!!! I love the premium options they have to make it affordable. You choose your own deductible which adjusts the premium. The best gift you can give a new puppy is to have Trupanion from day 1. Our plan is to always have Trupanion by our side as our little guy grows up. It is peace of mind that is priceless <3

Best decision
I am so happy we switched to lemonade. We have had another insurance since we adopted Sansa and it was such a waste. They didn’t cover anything and the prices kept going up and up and up. We switched to lemonade and it’s already paid for itself (not literally but close). Submitting claims is so easy and the refunds are super quick. I’m so happy we switched and anything we don’t get back goes to charity so honestly that’s a huge win. Do yourself and your best friend a favor and cover them with lemonade!

Appreciative Calico and me of Trupanion
I've forgotten the name of the very nice woman who's dog's name is the same as my cats', Sierra. She was kind; a good listener for this old fart, and quite competent and knowledgeable about products and services! I appreciated her very much! She took good care of Sierra and myself providing a great deal of info as well as peace of mind at a rough period of our lives since losing an old friend, my Siamese not long ago. And, should I get a new playmate for Sierra in the future, I will certainly get additional insurance from Trupanion! Expensive though it is for my budget, but well worth it should we ever need it. Thank you all so very much for offering to provide help for possible unforseen pet injury or illness. It's just Sierra, me, and and Trupanion now... Brandon
