How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Central Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I always have a positive experience when bringing my little Louie to the doctor(s)at Central Animal Hospital. Everyone from the moment you walk in are pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Louie is a senior and they take their time with him. The doctors are great!! They return calls, follow up post visits with lab results and exam findings. And the office is immaculate.

My family has used many area vets over the years, and we are now loyal to the team at Central Animal hospital. Excellent care and bedside manner. The vets do a beautiful job of explaining the treatment options and give patients time. They are sympathetic to owners' concerns. The whole staff is lovely!

Facilities were very clean! Staff were exceptional!! Very friendly and welcoming. Our vet gave our Susie( our 7 yr old guinea pig) a through exam and beautiful manicure which made her happy and hopping . It was a true pleasure to find exceptional care for our pets... we will be taking the rest of our " kids" for a visit

Worst vet in the area. 1. The doctors are not knowledgeable. My dog was diagnosed as high cholesterol and they “suggested” to do all the tests (CT, x ray, blood test, stool test). With all the tests, they still can’t find the root cause. We followed all the instructions from doctor and the cholesterol level double after one year! 2. Their fee is crazily high. Every visit will cost at least $500. They always “encourage” you to do a lot of exams and buy medicine/ pet food from them. 3. The operation at front desk was so bad. There is always a long waiting time even I am on time for my appointment. Most of time you call them, they will ask you to wait and hang you for at least 5 mins. I am very disappointed about the service they provide hope my options help with anyone who is looking for a vet.

I have been with them for 2 years and I will not continue with their service. My dog was diagnosed as high cholesterol last year and we tried to work with the doctor for weight management. They firstly recommended their prescribed dog food and promised to have weight loss in couple months. It didn’t work after couple months so they suggested to do a CT. Then they still couldn’t find the root cause and they suggested to do ultrasound. After that, they still couldn’t find the root cause and they suggested to do a blood test again! The doctor even recommended to cut the food amount by 1/3 and then by 1/2 even though we already fed the dog with diet dog food. We followed all the instructions and one year later the cholesterol level doubled. They started to promote their prescribed dog food again! They don’t know what they are doing!
