So far as I’m concerned, insurance for my pets is part of the “cost of ownership”. You never know what might happen or when. The ability to say “Do whatever needs to be done because my babies are insured” grants a relief that I’m never going to have to choose between what I can afford in the moment and the best care they need.

Trupanion is the best decision I ever made for our 2 Siberian pups, now 6 and 2 years old. Submitting claims is super easy online and even on my phone and payment is very prompt. Staff have always been so friendly, efficient whenever I have needed to call, and little to no wait time. I constantly recommend Trupanion to new pet owners. I love that it covers at 90% per diagnosis for life, once deductible is met and that you can choose the deductible. Ours need monthly allergy injections which would be so costly if we had to pay out of pocket. It would relieve so much worry should something long term or catastrophic happen.

I'm very pleased with my experience! I have to admit I was skeptical about insuring my cats at all as they're usually pretty low maintence after their kitten phase. I've also heard of so many insurance companies 'claiming' to cover but then not paying out. Boy am I glad I listened to my gut when choosing Healthy Paws!! The plan itself is definitely affordable every month and with a low annual deductible, 90% coverage and no caps or incident limits, it's been worth every penny! One of our fur babies is not even two and became really ill with what seemed to be a bacterial infection with unknown origin. Our vet took care of him and Healthy Paws took care of us! Service was realtively swift and when I had to call in with questions they were helpful and quick to answer. The follow up to check in on how our cat was doing even after they settled the claim was very sweet and shows how stellar their customer service really is!
