New puppies can be expensive at vets too
Enrolled with first vet visit with our new puppy Miki. We would never have thought our new pup would have a birth defect not easily seen by a vet, but after 13 months he had a seizure. X-ray and CTS can revealed he has a shorten soft pallet allowing water and food to easily enter his lungs developing pneumonia. Although the solution is a life style change and monitoring , the diagnosis and meds were very expensive and covered under our plan. By the time we arrived home we already had our payment readjusted. We unfortunately had a second seizure 2 weeks later that required more scans and blood work and extra medications. These we once again covered under the same deductible and we just payed our 10%. This coverage allowed us to keep our lovely pet instead of putting him down. It also has allowed us to afford his ongoing antibiotics and to focus on his eating process and enjoying his playfulness instead of the bulls he was incurring. Lesson learned even a new puppy from a reputable breeder can still incur major vet bills in early life. Thankfully Truepanion was there for us. We have been spreading the word to all we know.

So far, peace of Mind with TruPanion
We got insurance on our dog before she was diagnosed with kidney disease. TruPanion has been very good at reimbursing us for her food, medication and bloodwork since the diagnosis. Nice to see that insurance actually works.

It was very easy, Vet Clinic submitted the bills and got paid directly, we just had to pay the outstanding balance. Trupanion saved us a lot of money for the procedures our dog had down, very much worth having!

This was our first claim and it was paid quickly.
This was our first claim, and it was paid quickly...but I was very disappointed that the office visit was not included in the 90% coverage. I also think the $300 deductible was high considering we have never had one claim in 5 years!

I can not say enough amazing things about Healthy Paws pet insurance! When I brought my first dog into our family, I researched pet insurance, and it had changed so much from when I had my last pup. I knew I just wanted coverage for the emergencies. Healthy paws has made claim submission, info submission, and communication so seamless and easy from the beginning. I use the app to submit. I choose to do a higher deductible and a higher reimbursement, you honestly can manipulate the deductible and reimbursement to fit your budget! We recently had an accident. My almost 4 year old Newfoundland Poodle mix split, twisted and impacted his dewclaw while playing with his golden retriever sister. He’s broken that mail before, but this was bad and hurt him! A lot! I was so impressed with Healthy Paws. I called ahead to find out what I would need, because dewclaws Are an exclusion, but they helped calm me that this was an emergency and an accident. Their advice from the start was to always ask for the chart notes and include with the upload of the bill. I have only had 1 issue in 4 years, and it was my vets fault! I love the companies devotion to pets and that they make a shelter donation when you refer someone. And I love that it is underwritten by Chubb, the best insurance! I have it for my car and home!

I have to say that I am impressed so far with Lemonade. They were the cheapest for the same coverage over other insurances I've looked at. Everything is easy to understand and the process for filing a claim is simple once you get use to it. I've had a very positive experience with Lemonade and have no complaints.

Makes Insurance Easy
I absolutely love Lemonade. I use them for my apartment renters insurance and my pet insurance. It is so easy to set up a policy, the rates are super fair, the app is user friendly. I had to file a claim last week for my cat Walter. The app walks you through it step by step. Within 10 minutes my claim was filed and in a few days the $ was in my account. Really love their services!
