Pumpkin is a lifesaver
Pumpkin is a lifesaver. Without pumpkin, providing top notch medical care for my dogs would be so much harder! I appreciate everything Pumpkin does for my dogs and me.

Do NOT use Healthy Paws Pet Insurance
Do NOT use Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. After 13+ years of paying extremely high premiums for 90% coverage with a $100 deductible, they are now cutting coverage to 70% and raising the deductible to $500 simply because my dog is older—with no option to keep the plan I paid for. This 70% / $500 plan is now the best they will offer me. They love to market “no cap on payouts” and fast reimbursement—but who cares if they pay quickly when they change your policy right when you need it most? I genuinely feel bad for people leaving glowing reviews who haven’t reached this stage yet. Those reviews may be accurate now—but when your pet gets older and you truly need the insurance, this is when Healthy Paws lets you down. This is not trustworthy insurance.

Best in the business
I have been with Trupanion for many years. The service is good but very expensive. Trupanion settles claims quickly. My previous dog had congestive heart failure and I paid less for him than I do for my 2 year old cavapoo. Seems a bit off to me. I know prices go up over time but starting at such a high rate doesn't seem right.

This company is so wonderful
This company is so wonderful. Sending my invoices in for reimbursement is so easy. I did have an issue and the company worked with me to solve it. I would highly recommend them without any reservations.

Top notch
My dog Maggie recently got into the trash and eat some chicken bones. She fell sick, needed ultrasound, and x-rays to make sure that nothing was wrong inside. She spent the overnight at a veterinarian hospital in one day at her vet. Trupanion was top-notch. I can’t express how happy I am with their coverage. It would’ve been detrimental to our family budget to have to pay the entire bill.

A Call for Transparency
You continue to tell me to call for more help. I have already spoken to you and the girl said Trupanion will not release to me the data they use to justify the 30% increase in my premium. Why don’t you tell all of the people who read your reviews why you refuse to release the data you use to justify your ridiculous increases so we know you aren’t lying to us. That is the only question I want answered. You wouldn’t answer it on the phone. How about answering it writing. Last time. Very simple, why does Trupanion purposely withhold data from its customers it uses to justify increases?

I am very happy with the coverage
I am very happy with the coverage and the monthly fee. When I've called with a question, the reps are always very helpful and interested in my cats. I always recommend Nationwide to my friends with pets.
