Pricing details are not clear

Pricing details are not clear. We should be able to compare different options side-by-side, otherwise too confusing. Much more needs to be spelled out, what does much more includes?

Easy, simple, and painless process for the ones I love. Affordable as well, having 3 cats can be costly, now I can rest easy knowing that they are covered

Great insurance and has been so easy to use

Metlife is very simple and to the point, i have never had such a easy experience with a pet insurance. During stressful times the last thing i want to worry about is insurance when the reason i got it was for piece of mind.

The insurance is incredibly expensive

The insurance is incredibly expensive. Because of this, we only have the emergency coverage. With 2 emergencies lately, there were hefty deductibles on top of monthly fees. Trupanion barely covered half the bill. For 2 dogs it cost $3600 a year. Then there are $250 deductibles for EACH dog. Astronomical.

Quick and easy process, needs more information about requirements up front

the process was simple and quick, but doesn't say up front that there is a higher cost for the 1st month (until you get to the billing page), or discuss the requirement for a recent physical exam (within 6 months). It would be helpful to know these facts initially so that you don't pay for the insurance and then find out you're in for scheduling vet visits for everyone and paying for that out of pocket before the policy can be active! (we take our pets to the vet once yearly, and they are coming up on their next visit, so the hope was the insurance would be in place to cover that wellness visit, but now it has to come out of pocket for the policy to begin)

Raised my rate 300% ($450/mo) So now I either treat my cancer or pay for my cat's illness. Then they have the nerve to ask for a review. Ok, you got it. Healthypaws has a class action lawsuit against them in every state they provide service. Please feel free to email Healthypaw's CEO Paul Morrissette about what an absolute D he is. You can find his email online very easily.

Our dog has had several health issues…

Our dog has had several health issues in his nearly 6 years of life, including a rare condition that required surgery and medication for the rest of his life. He also recently had to have knee surgery, which was quite expensive. We have had only the best experience with Healthy Paws - our dog would be in a very different place without our insurance!
