Insurance worth it

My 15 year old cat has had his shares of emergencies. The last emergency he had was pancreatitis. We were out a few thousand dollars. Metlife came to our rescue and reimbursed 90% of the claim. Also, they reimburse me for his medications for chronic conditions such as arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease. I've had insurance on him for many years and I would never do without it. Metlife insurance has been a good choice for me.

BEWARE!!!!!

Really loved Petplan before Fetch purchased the company. Without warning I was dropped from 80% reimbursement with a $500 deductible to a MEASLY 60% with a $750. NOT what I signed up for & NOT something I'd waste so much $$$ on - I pay annually, have had consecutive insurance on my dogs for over 8 years with no lapse... what a slap in the face. Canceling my policy & going to Leomade. You shouldn't have to worry about these things. What if your auto insurance dropped you from $100k/300k down to $25k/50k + increased your deductible without your consent or knowledge? They wouldn't. It's illegal!

Well worth the switch

Our two senior large dogs are insured through MetLife, previously with Pets Best (which I’ve also reviewed favorably). Everything takes about 1.5 times as long with MetLife, but after the initial pains of transferring over documentation, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Claims are clearly and cleanly processed, and any questions along the way can be quickly addressed with a simple phone call. After the switch, our dogs have a much more generous policy at an even lower cost.

Tibia Fracture in my Senior Cat

I Had to take my 16year boy to a Board Certified Surgeon to have a fracture repair which is very costly. approximately $7000. It was hard to come up with the funds up front but I managed and got remburssed very quickly!!! I was expexting to have to wait about a month for the funds back but they where much faster and it only took a week!!! This was a HUGE realife as I had to borrow the funds from friends and was able to pay them all back ASAP:) Without pet insurence this would not have been possible at all!!! THANKYOU

Bought through employer benefits program

I've had two claims since we started this up about 2 months ago. On the first one the claim was processed super quick, and paid out after the deductible was met. Seems relatively inexpensive, and the claims APP is super easy to use.

They’ll take your money for years and not pay

When you buy insurance for your pet, pay premiums for 4 years on 3 cats you’ve had for 9 years since kittens, have one of them come down with a medical emergency and feel confident about having insurance for just such emergencies, and then have Healthy Paws not pay a penny. Then you just got robbed. We’d have been better off just squirreling money away than to throw it away for insurance that doesn’t pay specifically what it’s for. These guys are thieves.

We’re sorry for any frustration during the processing of your claims. As per the policy we require full medical records for all enrolled pets in order to process claims, this includes a copy of the required enrollment examination. Once full records are received (typically we ask for them when you file your first few claims) we then keep them on file for future claims processing. After thoroughly reviewing your account, while there were some records on file for your pet, we did not have their complete medical history (records dated from the time he joined your family through at least enrollment). This is why we continued to request those medical records. Our team worked with a senior claim processor, to utilize a visit from 2020 as the enrollment exam to process your claims, even though we did not receive any additional records from that time. Your claims have all been completed and approved for payment.

Best Pet Insurance!

ASPCA has been the BEST pet insurance! With Rolo's various sicknesses and unavoidable emergency vet visits, I had so much more ease during these times knowing that ASCPA would take care of everything quickly and with great care. This has been the biggest life saver financially - I cannot recommend them more!!!!

BEST PET HEALTH INSURANCE

Pets Best is literally the best and most affordable pet insurance. When I first got my Yorkie, he had intestinal issues even as a puppy. He's had several blood tests, ultrasounds and x-rays, and I've been to the emergency vet hospital in addition to his regular vet more times than you could ever imagine. He ended up getting an endoscopy and it was determined he has IBD. He was very sick at one point, and lost so much weight that I didn't think he would make it. Pets Best paid every single claim without any questions including all the medications he was given. I could never have afforded to pay that kind of money, and am grateful for getting Pets Best insurance. I highly recommend them!

Great Insurance!

We've had 4 cats insured for many years with ASPCA and I have never regretted getting this insurance. Our cats have gone through dentals (which aren't covered by all insurance companies!), Diabetes, Pancreatitis, Hyperthyroid, Urinary Blockage, and many others through the years, and ASPCA has always come through for us. I strongly recommend this for anyone looking for quality pet insurance.

rate keep going up

I've been a client for many years and the rate just keep increasing. It's not really worth it at this point. The worst part is that they do not cover tooth extraction from cavities, which will cost you about $2000+. Stay away and look for a company that do provide dental coverage

We realize no one likes any form of premium increase. We understand your concern and would be happy to review your account and discuss your premium increase with you in greater detail. If you have not done so already, please call us at (855) 898-8991 and we will gladly answer any questions you have regarding the factors that go into your premium increases. Our complete accident and illness plan covers injury to the teeth if it is caused by an accident, including extractions and reconstruction of damaged teeth. Like some other pet insurance companies, our plan does not cover the regular dental care required to maintain dental hygiene for the pet. By making routine dental cleaning part of the pet parent's financial responsibility, it allows us to offer a complete accident and illness plan
