Canceled policy with one month noticed and offered 50% price increase with less coverage instead. Especially problematic because it's impossible to find a new insurance that covers the dog immediately.

Answered any and all concerns. It is the first time getting pet insurance on my newly adopted dog. I recently lost my dog of 13 years that developed 3 different illnesses including cancer. Probably spent over $20,000 So without a doubt pet insurance! After many options and quotes this was by far the best!!! Rebecca made this happen. She was incredibly helpful and explained everything!!! That’s why I decided to get this insurance

MetLife has reviewed and paid my claims in a timely manner. The policy covers wellness claims as well as medical procedures, which I have appreciated with my rescue dog getting his health stabilized. MetLife was recommended by the animal shelter, and I have found their services to be excellent.

Great coverage for accidents and health conditions
They are responsive to claims processing and I haven't had a denial yet. I also enjoy being able to pay for my policy on a yearly basis instead of monthly. It is the nature of the beast, but I still don't understand why I can't raise my policy's limit. Inflation can raise the cost of doing business, but not my coverage.

Pets Best seems to be going downhill
I've been a Pets Best customer since 2014. In general, the coverage and claim servicing was decent. The past year has been nothing but a hassle to submit a claim, check status or even sign into the online portal. They don't seem to be able to get a handle on the technical issues. Which means the only way to speak to someone is to wait on hold for 45 minutes. Multiple emails go unanswered. And this terrible service after my premium was increased to 50% of the annual max. What happened to your company?! I say this as someone that has worked in the insurance industry since 2000, with claims handling experience.
