Horrible service for a customer of7 yrs
Honestly I’ve been a customer since September 2018. Over the year of being a good customer, driving was great no tickets or accidents they brought up premiums by $30 then finally this month price went down $10. Yay finally!! October 30th I got the call my new car is in so I called sonnet to say I’m trading in my car on November 1/25 they went through my policy and to swap it the new monthly payments were almost triple the price🤦🏽♀️ I told them I want to cancel their employee put me on hold after being in the queue for over an hour, this guy I finally spent 20 minutes talking to about the situation, he tried to get me a better deal but wasn’t so I said I’ll cancel. Someone else did offer a better deal. I waited 5 minutes for the guy to come back, I heard the click to come back and he hung up! Wtf!! Now you think the Curtosy for a long term customer waiting to finish a cancellation the employee would call back! Nope nothing It was after 6 so now their closed so I had to wait till Friday after work and so I called around 5 stayed on que till 6:15ish and no one answered then the line went dead. Now their closed. I checked my emails still no cancellation email so today Monday nov3rd I called waited over an hour in queue and the guy has authority with management apparently said he couldn’t cancel my policy dating Nov 1/25, I told him about the guy and that I had called the Thursday cancelling etc and he requested proof I traded my car in nov1 I sent bill of sale which Kia made a mistake and dated oct31. I also sent him credit agreement showing my old car was traded in Nov 1st and vin etc and the guy said can’t except it I had KIA manager write a letter and still no! Honestly he was giving me the run around for nothing when he clearly sees in documentation that all information asked and requested to cancel for jov1st was there.. I’m sure he was just giving me a hard time because I said I didn’t want to stay with sonnet. I got an amazing quote only $60 more than what I was paying from another company so the guy was getting on my last nerve truly upset me I didn’t know what else to send I sent all documents even with personal info I got that I shouldn’t have had to send. Anyhow I was so upset I just cancelled from today’s date when respectfully he should have cancelled on November 1st since that’s what my proof shows and that it’s their employees fault not doing his job properly…. So disrespectful to a long term customer! I’m so upset I will not recommend sonnet to anyone!

MetLife Pet Insurance is a great product.
I have had MetLife Pet Insurance for 3 plus years. The app is very easy to use. The policy options are great. The claims turn around time is quick and reimbursements are always deposited fast. The only negative I find is the policy price. Seems a little expensive but you also get what you pay for.

Healthy Paws has been great
Healthy Paws has been great. I have not had a chance to use the insurance since both my pets have been healthy. Recently my one dog was diagnosed with Cushings disease and we have had and continue to have many vet visits. Healthy Paws has covered 90% of the cost and its has been a seamless process. The claims are easy to file and they are prompt with the reimbursements. I highly recommend them.

Trash Insurance
Garbage insurance. Just throw money at them and hope they'll cover, if they do, it'll go toward a deducible. Vets and vet insurance is the best embezzlement scheme ever. This company sucks at each level.
MetLife has made life easier

I normally don't believe in pet…
I normally don't believe in pet insurance, but after 3 of my pets had costly health issues over the past few years that are now chronic requiring specialists for foreseeable future, I started considering it. I got concerned if any new health issues would arise so I landed on Pets Best since they don't require initial vet visit which is a huge pain for multiple pets. After a year, I wondered if I should keep it since I was still paying out of pocket for pre-existing conditions and I hadn't met my deductible for new minor issues that popped up. Then suddenly another one of my pets who was always healthy got really ill and I rushed her to the ER. They stabilized her and it cost $5300. This was my first big claim I ever submitted, so I worried if they'd honor it. It wasn't a pre-existing condition so I told myself that I'd cancel the policy if they denied the claim. About 3-4 weeks later I got an email confirming they paid out the claim which was the amount I expected based on my policy. I was so happy and am definitely sticking with them. I took a star off because they've been having intermittent technical issues with their app and website for about a month. I was also on pins and needles waiting for a response, so I'm not sure if 3-4 weeks is typical since I've never had pet insurance before. I even uploaded all the medical records from the visit hoping that would expedite it. Other than that, I'm very satisfied and if they finally fix their app/web issues permanently and speed up the wait time for a claim response, I'd give 5 stars. CS isn't helpful if you call to get a status update, they just told me they're probably backed up with claims and will do their best. The outcome is what I care most about though...they covered exactly what was supposed to be covered.

Reimbursements take a while
Reimbursements take a while. Good for accidents and illness but not on wellness. The wellness package is basic and very, very low that it only accommodate a small fraction of the actual costs. Better off just save up for the annual exam.
