We have had Embrace Pet Insurance since 2021 and we are so thankful for it as both of our dogs have needed surgery. Sometimes, of course you have insurance and don't use it and think it is a waste of money, but believe when I say that you will be glad when the time comes that a pet needs care. Surgery is very expensive, and Embrace Pet Insurance keeps you from being forced to consider surgery or no surgery.

Three Claims In and I gave Spot pet Insurance a 5/5 on all three!
I’ve had three claims now with Spot pet insurance and I have been very pleased. Staff was so helpful and friendly when I called, very caring about my sick pup. All three claims were processed and paid in 7-8 days. App is easy to understand and follow, and submittal process was simple.Everything worked as expected. I tell people all the time about it because so many have had bad experiences with pet insurance. I read the details of my policy when I signed up originally (which honestly was just a few pages and in Easy-to-understand language), and knew what I was buying up front. I also love all the variable pricing options so I could buy what made sense for us. This is a no-brainer 5 star rating!

Fetch screwed us with outrageous rate increase
We have used Fetch pet insurance since they were PetPlan. We've had many policies for various dogs because we run a nonprofit dog rescue. We insured our rescue dogs while waiting to be adopted. We insured our own pet dogs. We recommended them to everyone. $15000 coverage per year. How would that make any sense to pay. So now we are forced to cancel her policy which means any other company will not cover any pre-existing conditions she's had throughout her life. So they totally screwed us and that shows just how little they care about customer service and providing care for their customers and their pets. Do NOT get a policy from Fetch. It may seem good when you first get it but it will go up in price every year significantly and when they get old and really need their health insurance you will no longer be able to afford it. Go with another company that actually cares about pets and not just making money. They sure don't care!

You NEED insurance and Healthy Paws is the best!
I got my Pup, Jethro, at 3 months old and I got healthy Paws Insurance when he was 2, Never knowing I was going to need it as quickly as I did. I expected to use it in his old age to make sure he was happy and healthy for as long as possible. After we were in the yard trimming bushes, I noticed he had a slight limp and brought him to the vet, they told me that he would work it out and be fine, knowing HP would cover it, i pushed for an x-ray. This is when they found the cancer tumor in his back left knee, the prognoses was bleak, we went from oncologist to oncologist and they all said, 6 to 8 months to live. We brought him to UF in Florida and their doctors said the same. We went through removing the leg with cancer, went through chemo, found out that Dr Mamula from Yale had a vaccine and Jethro aggressively fought for his life. He beat the odds, only to find out 4 years later he had another tumor in his kidney, renal carcinoma, and we had the kidney removed and another round of chemo. 2 years later, he was cancer free again beating all the odds against him! Jethro celebrated his 10th birthday in August and it was all made possible BECAUSE of Healthy Paws insurance, the ease of putting in a claim and the quick deposit to my bank account. I believe that Jethro wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Healthy Paws Insurance!

I strongly do not recommend Embrace Pet…
I strongly do not recommend Embrace Pet Insurance. We paid premiums expecting coverage for our pets, but when we filed our claims, all were denied. Both our family veterinarian and a veterinary specialist provided written letters confirming that the injuries were not pre-existing conditions, yet the company still refused coverage. We submitted thorough medical documentation and followed their process, but our claims were dismissed without fair consideration. After this experience, we canceled our policy. In my opinion, this company does not stand by its stated coverage, and pet owners should be aware before trusting them with their pets’ health care. We were left with thousands of dollars in expenses that we reasonably expected to be covered.

My dog suffered with a perianal…
My dog suffered with a perianal fistula. My vet tried various treatments for a year. When treatments were exhausted, my dog had surgery to remove affected gland and repair fistula. Embrace quickly paid all submitted claims. A year of treatment and surgery were very expensive for me without insurance help. Very satisfied and would recommend to anyone with a pet.

An amazing company
This has been an amazing company. They are professional and caring. I receive reimbursement in a timely manner and have honored my requests. I have been with them for years and now that my little guy is older, I am glad that I am coverd.

Very easy process for the claims…
Very easy process for the claims process. In reviewing cost, they were lower than other companies when you compare deductible and the amount they allow each year. Very helpful when you have to call them directly by phone.

Do not use healthy paws
Healthy paws was a great company years ago. Now they constantly raise rates with no reason. This time my pets insurance went from $180 a month to $375 a month. We started at $80 a month. They also try to say they need your pets medical history but aren't receiving the files. I literally sent it 5 different ways and I did not receive a confirmation until I told them they would be speaking to my lawyer Do not use this company, there are so many options these days.

I was paying a high premium each and
I was paying a high premium each and every month for my two dogs and that is now increased up to $120 a month for both my dog. This is the second time I tried to use my insurance I’ll pay for something which is what you get insurance for in the first place. First time I was denied the second time now I only got less than half had to pay $250 deductible, which is crazy after all I pay each month.
