Pets Best is superior!

We adopted a puppy in January. We got Pets Best insurance the next day. Since puppies are notorious for eating anything in sight, we decided to get the full coverage plan in case of an obstruction from eating something he shouldn't. What we didn't know, was that he would have much bigger problems than that in a few months. Since Tully is a giant breed, they grow very fast and can be susceptible to growth issues. He has a congenital condition and has had multiple surgeries and he may need more in the road ahead. He is less than a year old and has not had an opportunity to be a normal puppy yet. Pets Best has allowed us to do everything we can for our puppy so he can live a normal life in the near future! We have had other pet insurance in the past and Pets Best is far superior! All I can say is that it is much better to have insurance and not need it than to need it and not have it! I tell everyone I know that it is well worth the premium paid!

Coverage is as stated in agreement

Coverage is as stated in agreement - no hidden loopholes. Very prompt payment. Have never had any complaints about Trupanion s (originally Vet Insurance) service. Fees are very nominal.

easy submission of claims

I am please with the submission of claims and receiving payments. However, both of the coverages are getting too expensiv for me to carry on my own. I asked if i could speak to someone about approximately how much it would cost to have just major medical; i was advised 1. that i had to wait until later in the year closer to the re-enrollment of my dog 2.they could not give me how much it would cost, because by the time my coverage renews, the cost may be different. 3.I was told i would need a new policy. so, my response is I have had this policy since Stryker was a puppy; a NEW POLICY??? REALLY??? I have paid every month for coverage with NO LAPSES. i should NOT need a NEW POLICY, simply a change to the existing policy. 2. I should have been able to at least discuss my OPTIONS with someone in that department, even if i could NOT change it yet. I truly did feel as though i was given the "run-around" and do not particularly care for that; as i have been a good "customer". Other than that, i have no qualms about any claim submission or reimbursement I have received.

Nationwide Provides Impressive Coverage

We are very pleased with the support and coverage we receive from National Pet Insurace. They are prompt with processing our claims and are always there if I have any questions. Great insurance, needs to add online claim submission capabilities

I've had pet insurance for the past 5 years, and am very happy with the insurance. The only reason for the "9" instead of the "10" rating is that claims still need to be submitted via mail or fax. I wish that they would enable online claim submission. The now provide for electronic claim payment which is a huge improvement. The turn around time between submitting a claim and receiving payment can be a little long, but it's worth the wait.

Amazing

Nationwide is an amazing pet insurance company! We're got it for our 18 month old when we first got her at 2 months old. They have covered so much! The monthly payments are so reasonable considering how much we save each time we go to the vet.
