Great customer service.
Great customer service. I called about my plan going up again this year almost 20 dollars a month. Lisa was a good listener and made me feel better after talking to her. I’m hoping the increase in cost does not continue every year but am still happy I have pet insurance for my fur baby.

I have recommended this company to several friends.
I have recommended this company to several friends. I have always been satisfied with their service and, with my dogs health issues, I have been able to go the whole distance to keep her alive. She has diabetes, had her gallbladder removed, and, most recently, had a brain tumor removed. I think most people would have given up on her a long time ago but this insurance has made it affordable to get the services needed to keep her with me.

I purchased the additional pet wellness plan and our first well visit cost $53. Filed our claim by using the app and taking a photo of the receipt and we received $52 back. It doesn't get much better than that!

So far, definitely worth it.
Your first year Wellness benefit get used up quickly with a puppy, but it still helps. After the $250 annual deductible, pretty much all that I had was paid for. So far it has paid for itself with minor illness’s, hopefully I never need to use it for something major. I have a bullmastiff that had some gas and skin problems the cost $650 and $330 respectively. I highly recommend using the Vitusvet app, it makes it VERY easy. My only recommendation is that the claim gets processed faster than 3 weeks. For a large claim, it would be nice to have that money back in my pocket ASAP.

Great having coverage in case of emergencies but the premium increases drastically each year. My monthly payments increased by more than $30 in just one year.

My pupper is happy again!
Nationwide is really great pet insurance. It may be a tad expensive, but totally worth it. I had to take my dog in for skin allergies, he was having such a hard time and we could tell he was miserable with itching. Getting him to a dermatologist was expensive. But thanks to Nationwide, it was 90% covered! That is amazing. Now our pupper is happy again!
