Trupanion is a lifesaver for your wallet.
My 12 week old French Bulldog tried going up the steps and failed. She slid down hit her elbow and started whimpering. we rushed her to the emergency vet to find out that she broke her little elbow cap. I know there's another term for it but I don't know it off the top my head but the surgery was about $4,000 and trupanion stepped in and paid 90% of it which was a lifesaver considering we just got the puppy and French Bulldogs are already expensive to begin with so trupanion it's worth every dime..

Decent Product
It is a bit expensive considering both the biweekly cost and the deductible but since it is structured similarly to human insurance it isnt a shocker. I really enjoy the vitusvet app that allows you to take a picture, fill out a very brief form and send in your claims digitally. It rare for an insurance company to try to make it easier to submit claims.

I took out the insurance as a precaution on my pet in case of injury. When she got sick, I was in a panic on how to pay for her vet bills. The insurance company was extremely helpful in assisting with the mounting vet surgery bills and treatments. I would recommend pet insurance for any person who has an animal.
