Worth it, Not Going Back
I got this policy for both of my pets 2 years ago. I will admit that I got mad because my rate went up for my dog this year, but then a few months later my dog started having seizures. I was able to get her the best possible care including an MRI because of her policy. I am so grateful for Trupanion’s check out option and I plan to have a policy for every pet I get moving forward.

Trupanion’s unwavering support has been a Godsend!
I have two French Bulldogs covered with Trupanion, Hazel Mae and Harvey. Hazel Mae had two mast cell tumors removed and had to go through chemo for a year. She has since had some very scary liver issues that so far have been treatable. All of these claims have been processed by simply submitting them through the app. No denials, no surprises and no fighting to get them covered. Without Trupanion’s support, it would have been a huge financial burden to getting Hazel Mae the care she needed. With Trupanion’s support, we were able to get an early diagnosis on her cancer and get her the treatment she needed to be cancer free for 6 months now! My husband and I will do everything we can for our babies, even if it means spending every last dime to keep them healthy. Thankfully, Trupanion’s support makes this a much more financially feasible goal.

I will not recommend MetLife pet insurance
I liked the responsiveness to claims and the help of the folks i talked to. I did NOT appreciate you charging me premiums for my healthier dog that is still living that would completely cover the max you might possibly pay out. My other dog used the max benefits last year and he had to be put to sleep. I paid WAY more out of pocket that metlife understandably wouldn’t cover. But there’s no way it makes sense to effectively drop my other dog because of that. You are constructively dropping my dog when you charge premiums equal to the max payout. I will NOT recommend you.

Healthy Paws was one of the best, now its cost prohibitive.
Healthy Paws was one of the best! Good coverage and claims response. Cost increases were acceptable, at about 10% per year. Then, suddenly, the rates have more than doubled. My daughter who also has her dog insured with HP, reported the same doubling of her rates. What gives?

Don’t ever joint this scam insurance if you meet in and accident good luck you can call and wait on the phone for 6 hours you will never get someone to talk don’t make the cheapness get to you they will take your money but go go with you if you tame to talk to them for anything scammmmmmmmmm scammmmmmmmm
