Two major complaints
Two major complaints. The first is that we lost hundreds of dollars in our first year because we didn't know that they unreasonably do not pay out if you don't submit the invoices within a very short period of time (rather than the full year). We held off submitting because our dog was still experiencing health issues so we thought we would submit after we knew they were resolved. Second, we just received the notice of our third year's cost. It is 26.5% higher than the previous year! There is no universe where a three year old dog has a 26.5% higher risk than a two year old dog. I would not recommend Fetch to anyone.

Avoid Pets Best – Costs Skyrocket, Claims Denied
Avoid Pets Best. What started as a $30/month policy jumped to $150/month in just three years, completely out of nowhere and with no changes to my policy or coverage. There was no clear explanation or justification for the increase. They also refused to reimburse a medically necessary dental surgery, claiming it was only covered if my cat had routine dental cleanings — a requirement that was never clearly disclosed and feels like an excuse to deny claims. Pets Best looks affordable at first, but once you rely on it, the costs skyrocket and coverage shrinks. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The easiest online quote to get
The easiest online quote to get. The coverages are explained clearly and the prices are affordable. This is also the only company I found that supports first responder and our military. It is greatly appreciated.

173% increase despite promises about age
We’ve been Trupanion customers for 8 years, but our dog’s premium has increased 4 times in the last 4 years — from $79 to $216/month, a 173% increase, with no meaningful coverage changes. This is despite Trupanion’s claim that a dog’s age is not a factor in pricing. As our dog has gotten older, the policy has become financially unsustainable. Long-term affordability for senior pets is a serious issue.

I submitted 2 claims
I submitted 2 claims, and both were received and completed within a few days. This was impressive and very happy with the outcome. Money was sent directly to my bank while I was on vacation and made it very easy.

Covered Most of an ER Vet Visit
I’ve had Spot Insurance for my two rescue dogs for some time and this was the first time I’ve needed to use it. The process was fairly straightforward and easy. As long as my rates aren’t jacked up (or worse, I’m dropped) now that I’ve made a claim, I’d rate the service as excellent.
