Excellent customer service
The customer service I received from Brandi was excellent. She answered all the questions I had. The price of the two policies for the deductible, amount of the policy and reimbursement rate I chose was very reasonable. I had a concern as if your pet is ill, you have 48 hours to get in to a vet or the claim could be denied. My vet is booked sometimes a week out but Brandi advised me I could go to another clinic or an urgent care clinic and this would meet the 48 hour requirement. After purchasing the policy you get notified several times to add your pet's previous vet records. I didn't know this was required when I bought the policies so it took a bit to get the records from the vet. Prudent's on line app is very easy to use which is a plus. I haven't filed a claim as I just bought the policies but I'm hoping filing a claim is as easy as purchasing the policies.

Just signed up so far the rates and the ratings have been phenomenal. Obviously no vet visttet but the customer service has been great especially Maddie who made things easy was very kind courteous and friendly thus far very happy I made the switch from Pets Best.

Exorbitant annual price increases
I’ve been a client since 2018 for my 3 dogs. I was very happy in the beginning but they will slowly at first, then later rapidly and exponentially increase your premiums until you are forced out. Mine went up over $400 a month for next year!! They are essentially forcing me out. Would definitely NOT recommend!

MetLife Pet Insurance has been incredible.
MetLife Pet Insurance has been — and continues to be — the best fit for me and my poodle. Whenever I call with a question, the representatives are courteous and polite. They even ask about my poodle by name, which I really appreciate. I did have one issue getting a refund on time, but it happened during the holidays, and they explained that they receive a high volume of claims during that period. Other than that, everything has been great. All in all, I give MetLife Pet Insurance 10 Gold Stars.

Sweet girl had a too sweet tooth!
I recently adopeted my sweet girl, Gracie. I opted to take advantage of MetLife Pet Insurance through her adoption and I'm so glad I did! She recently got into some hidden dark chocolate I was saving for the Holidays and I had to take her to the pet hospital for an overnight stay. She's totally fine, but it was very scary as she ingested a toxic amount of chocolate. Of course the vet bill was high! I immediately filed a claim and within a week received the funds (less the deductible) via Zelle. I'm very grateful for MetLife and the easy process to file a claim!! Gracie is totally fine and I learned my lesson about where to hide the chocolate!

Great turnaround time for reimbursement…
Great turnaround time for reimbursement but would like to see higher levels of reimbursement for covered procedures/vaccinations. Only 38% of my visit were covered.
