Wonderful Experience
I signed my dog up for insurance about 6 months ago hoping we wouldn't need it but she managed to ingest a whole walnut and needed surgery to remove it. I was very impressed that Nationwide paid us within days of submitting our claim. We got 90% minus the $250 deductible. It was so comforting to know that we could make a decision on her treatment without worrying how we were going to pay for it. I would recommend Nationwide to anyone who has a pet.

Amazing coverage ! Quick reimbursement !
I have the full coverage plan for my high maintenance bully. Since I got this plan when he was at 12 weeks, I’ve been fortunate that they have covered everything from his tummy rash to knee surgery!!! Highly recommend!!!

Nationwide is my peace of mind!
I have been telling everyone about my positive experience with Nationwide these past two years. I pay my premium in January when I get my taxes back so I have peace of mind all year. With Covid-19 I am even more grateful I have insurance. Customer service has been above and beyond. Thank you!

Peace of Mind!
We have been with Healthy Paws since August, 2017. Our 3 pound poodle has had various issues from simple ear infections, tummy troubles to major abdominal surgery and even back lacerations from a large dog attack and Healthy Paws has been there for us! I would never have a pet without this insurance company! They have stood by little Blink through thick and thin! And it’s so easy to submit a claim! Literally I just take a picture of the doctor bill on my cell phone and with a simple push of a button it’s submitted! The check usually arrives within a couple of weeks! It’s that easy! If you are thinking about insurance for your pet... DO IT! Trust me Healthy Paws has reimbursed me over $10,000!!! I recommend signing up when your pet is young to secure a lower monthly rate and to have the assurance that if something big happens your 4 legged baby is covered! Blink (Poodle), Tucker (English Goldendoodle), my husband Rande and I thank you Healthy Paws! 🐾

They refuse coverage for most injuries/ailments
My 2 year old dog tore her ACL, I hadn't had trupanion long enough for it to be covered, understandable, all of my other claims to them I have had to fight tooth and nail to get reimbursement. 9 months into paying for trupanion my dog tore her other ACL, now they are refusing to cover it because of the first injury, she is a liability... really?? Its not even the same leg so it isnt a preexisting condition..ISNT THIS WHY I HAVE PET INSURANCE? I do not recommend trupanion under any circumstance, it's a huge waste of money

Insured with Healthy paws since my dog was a puppy, my monthly premiums increase 30% when my dog turned 3 years old
I have never had a reimbursable claim with Healthy paws; I bought insurance when Danny was a puppy thinking it might be important when he got to be a lot older... My premium was $32 per month; Healthy paw just informed me after taking roughly $1000 in monthly premiums over the last 3 years that they are increasing my premium to $42 per month. First I never was informed that my premium was subject to future price increases when I bought the policy and secondly, a 30% increase seems very greedy.

Because My vet mentioned a birth defect to me about my puppy (cork Tail).
Because My vet mentioned a birth defect to me about my puppy (cork Tail). He was not showing signs he mentioned it. He needs surgery and now you are saying it was pre existing. My vet is extremely upset as well and will no longer refer your company. Meanwhile he told me about your company. My policy said you cover congenital - Should I have taken a policy before the puppy was born? This is the 1 st time I ever had pet insurance. I guess your like most Health insurance carriers. You only want the money and not pay out. Sorry That's how I feel.
