Very straightforward process, coverage was as expected
We made the decision to get pet insurance for both our very active dogs. The thinking was that if one of them hurt their leg, repair work might be expensive, and insurance would be an inexpensive way to take care of that. As it turned out, the company is very quick to pay out claims. The process is pretty straightforward. I have already recommended the company to a friend of mine. I think they offer a fair price for unforeseen, expensive treatment.

Great Pet Insurance Policy
Thank God I listened to my vet in NJ and got pet insurance thru trupanion. My Becky has a hx of bladder infections. Hospitalizations, sonograms and medications, and eventually cancer of the bladder. Reimbursement is within a week of submission of claim 90% after deductible. Becky receives monthly chemotherapy which is over $700. We are very grateful to keep Becky healthy bc of Trupanion.

Thank you very much for quick and prompt resolution of my claims. I am a bit dissapointed that Cabbage's rabies immunization was not covered, but I am a novice with insurance and that might be expecting that mandatory immunizations will be covered. otherwise, I am happy with your services.

nationwide has been more than helpful.
my doberman had a lump removed from her neck —- it was NOT malignant. she’s perfectly fine now and stitches out. was very expensive and nationwide helped make it affordable. i have used them for a total of 12 yrs —- different dogs — wouldn’t consider another company. of corse it doesn’t hurt that i insure my house & car thru them.e
