Worth every penny!
You get what you pay for. While it may not be the cheapest monthly rate, it is very worth the money to keep my dogs safe and secure and Nationwide is definately on my side! They have a very quick turn around time once a claim is easily submitted. I love that they offer a direct deposit option. They have paid on most all of my claims going above and beyond! I suggest them to all pet owners i know and i will always insure all future pets with them as well! Highly recommend!

Best Decision I Made
I am so very thankful to have Healthy Paws insurance take great care of my “kids”. It totally eased my financial burden, and is the best decision I made. I researched different insurance companies and found that Healthy Paws was affordable, PLUS, they make it so easy to communicate and file a claim. Mia needed major surgery which stripped my Emergency Fund, but she is well again and I replaced most of the Fund within about 2 weeks. I highly recommend that any pet parent enroll today even though you think you may never need it. Life happens.

Scam company. Raises you rates 50%.
In two years they raised my rates from $58 to $138. Thenlast increase was from $92 to $138 a 50% increase. Once your dog gets older they will raise your rates every year til you cant afford it and cancel. After 9 yrs of paying when my dog needs it most they raise my rates 50%. You will regret getting healthy paws. I know I do. They never pay out all my claims. More and more things are not covered. Save your money unless you like annual raise hikes and policy change notifications emails when your dog starts showing his age. Theres no peace of mind with healthy paws just a constant worry about raise hikes. They can raise rates as high as they want and theres nothing you can do about it.

Per insurance should be researched
My dog has had an ear infection 3-4 times I. Her life, but because she had one pre-existing to my purchasing the insurance it never gets covered. I have a $500 deductible the odds of an ear infection using too much of the deductible is absurd. People as well as dogs do get ear infections more than once in their lifetime.
