Look no further, HEALTHY PAWS pet insurance is the best!!!
I have been the owner of dogs most of my life. Due to health problems of my own, I utilize the services of a "trained service dog". The trainer whom I trained with required us to have pet insurance and after alot of research and yes, reading reviews, I decided Healthy Paws pet insurance was for us. Now, while we paid for insurance for over 2 years and never filed a claim (thankfully, because who wants a sick pup/cat), having this insurance is the best money I pay out every month. Unfortunately, my dog had some sort of stomach issue (colitis?) and weeks later after a freak accident, he was back at the vets office with a torn ACL. The expense for both of these combined has been over $3000.00!! So, having said all of that, I was very hesitant when it came to filing a claim and it's unfortunate that I wasted my time and energy over that because WOW, the process could not have been easier!! I simply took a picture of the vet bill, sent it in to Healthy Paws (via their app) and within 10-15 days, I had my portion of what was covered in my hand. There was no back and forth, they kept me informed every step of the way. Hands down the best decision was going with Healthy Paws!!

Never fun dealing with Insurance, but...
Pet bills are almost never cheap. My dog was limping and I took him in for exam and x-ray. Between the visit, x-rays, consults, tests, meds, etc., I was looking at a eight hundred and something bill. But submitting the records online was fairly painless (wish submitting via phone app was easier, though!). The bill was reviewed and payment issued within a week or so. Payment was made directly into my bank account (my choice.) Mind you, my records were clear and included the Doctor's report/assesment, etc. But there was no arguing or the game of "we need more information before we can pay this claim..." Very happy overall.

Faster payments
I am signed up for automatic payments....recently they are coming much quicker! I believe once it was like 2 days after I submitted bills. Thank you! My one small complaint.......sometimes understanding what you’ve paid or not paid is not clear to me. It’s hard to sort things out sometimes. I’m sorry I can’t think of exact details right now.......

Claim was easy
This is my 1st claim with Pets Best for a new puppy visit. The claim was very easy to make and they responded expeditedly, and a payment made directly to my checking account just as quickly. I have another exam coming up that will include a blood test, microchip installation, required vaccinations, and a Vet visit for my new pup. I'm hoping that the next claim will be just as easy as the first one,

Great claim experience
