Extremely long claim processing time

My dog got sick in March I completed the claim immediately and the request for my previous Vets records I submitted immediately I did not hear any back so I resubmitted the request for my previous Vets records 2 months later finally the claim was settled in August— I do not feel it should take 5 months to settle a claim. When asked if I wanted a check or electronic payment I chose electronic payment— however the payment came in the form of a check!

Does what pet insurance is supposed to do

Have filed many claims for my canine non-human companion. Nationwide has always come thru without question. Timely payments and customer service has been helpful with any inquiry. I am not being compensated for this review.

Very quick turn around for the Reimbursement

Nationwide was great during this process with my dog. It’s hard enough going through that so I’m really happy with the quickness is their communication as well as how easy it was to get the reimbursement rt to my account. I’m so thankful I have this insurance for my pet.
