grateful! surgery covered

My dog mochi is a 4 year old Maltipoo, he is my first dog so he is super spoiled and has been insured with healthypaw since he was 6 months old. Recently he had a ruptured disc from jumping off the sofa and needed an emergency laminectomy. The estimated cost was around 10-14k, which typically with all the pet insurance out there, you would have to pay upfront and then get reimbursed. However, I called healthyPaw to see if they can work with the vet and pay the vet directly, which they did!! They responded my request to formal pre-approval email to me and my vet. within a few hours (I think I got the email response within 3hrs). The total cost of the bill was covered per the insurance plan I have for Mochi. On top of that, Mochi will need physical therapy to help him walk again and the physical therapy vet I am working with says healthypaw will cover almost all their services they provide there, will update the review after PT treatment/reimbursement. I cannot say how grateful I am for having HealthyPaw!!

First-timers' experience

After 30 years of pet ownership, this has been our first experience with pet insurance and we've been very pleased. We have Hartville pet insurance for both of our dogs; enrolled as soon as we brought them home at 10 weeks. Submitting claims online is easy and claims are processed in a timely and understandable manner.

I've found surprisingly easy-to-file insurance with unexpected quick processing after sending in my itemized bills.

Once I figured out how to navigate "the cloud" and got my account set up, it was very easy to file claims. They were processed within days. I worked with dental insurance for 28 years. Lemme tell you, pet insurance is soooo much easier than people insurance!

Reimbursement of my Pet's Vet bills is fast and easy because the Vet files our paperwork the day of our visit.

I got our Pet Insurence thru my HCA Employment as a benefit with a discounted rate. No Exclusions, so our 11 yr old YorkiePoo was insured without question. The cat is 5yo, and also insured. Our Vet Files our Paperwork, and we are reimbursed in about 2-3 weeks without any questions, or haggleing with the Insurance Company. Frankly, this NationWide Pet Insurence is better and easier than our Human BlueCross Florida Blue coverage!

No delays
