I don't know what has changed, but what used to take 4-6 weeks to get paid is now days to less than a week. That alone keeps me from looking at other insurers options. Submitting the claim is a breeze on the Vitus App, and now payment through CQP, and quick turnaround on same is absolutely fabulous! I don't have to worry about affording and providing care to my fur baby for those emergency situations that add up quickly. GREAT JOB NW PET!

Very satisfied with claim process
My vet submitted the claim forms. As far as I could tell, claims were processed within a couple days of submission and paid in a few more days. The payment system is easy to set up. The only thing that would be easier is if I didn’t have to pay up front and the vet was reimbursed directly.

Automatic Payment - WOW!
My claim was paid instantly right at the veterinarian's office! My portion was all I owed! That still amazes me. Thank you for going one more extra mile (on top of the thousands already) to make sure we are well taken care of!

Horrible company.
I decided to get pet insurance due to having large bills from the vet in the past with other animals and struggling even to this day to pay them off. I signed up for the company back in June and the only thing they have been consistent with was taking my money. Took me calling and calling to get a claim even looked at and calling and calling about a reimbursement which I never got. At this point I was paying 57 dollars a month right into their pockets. She just had to get a surgery for a lump removal and they said I was getting money back to help pay it off. I waited for weeks and never got the money. When I called and was on hold for 20 mins they told me it went into my yearly deductible. I have rescue dogs and fosters. I’m not made of money. Isn’t insurance suppose to help you when you need help? Disappointing company. I’d never recommend to anyone.

Scam!
I did my research before I signed up with this company, however when you want to cancel your insurance and no one gets back to you after multiple attempts, you’re not sure what to do. They then went on to continue charging me even though it was cancelled and when I didn’t pay it, it was sent to collections ruining my credit!! Awful company and customer service

Pet Best responded very quickly and paid the vet direct. The vet normally wanted money up front but worked with me and they filed direct with Pet Best. Pet Best paid the vet directly. I highly recommend Pet Best for pet insurance.

Best pet insurance--ever!
I wish I would have found Nationwide pet insurance first. I had another company before them, and a very poor experience. Nationwide has been very prompt with refunds, the returned amount has been correct every time, and I have always had a good experience when I have called. They have been one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Thank you!

So grateful for Healthy Paws Insurance!
My dog torn his ligament in his hind leg, playing with another dog. We tried medication and rest. While this didn’t work, it was in his best interest to have surgery. I’m am so grateful to have this insurance! The process was simple, I was updated daily on the claim and the check came in the mail promptly. They also sent me a email, wondering how my boy was doing. Much appreciate for their thoughtfulness.
