Exceeded expectations

Useful insurance. Easy to enroll and claim.

Premium was reasonable and it was easy to sign up. Our cat, Chubbs had a small accident when he leapt off a ladder and ladder fell and hit his leg. He was limping a little and we brought him to the pet hospital immediately and we had no worries about what can be covered etc because we knew Nationwide will cover most of it. The claim process was simple and quick. This is also one of the few pet insurance to do wellness claims as well.

Captain Ahab's last stand

as expected there was no activity on my 2 year account until the end, Captain got suddenly sick in October and even though we tried to fix him, he declined quickly and had to be euthanized in November. Submitting my claims was easy, I haven't had any customer service issues to even comment on. I have not yet been paid, but the process takes a few weeks, it isn't December as of this review.

A breathe of fresh air.

I am very happy I was recommended to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance from my supervisor at work. He said they are a godsend and after getting insured and then finally having to use the insurance, yes, I can see why Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is an angel in disguise. What happened: My 2 year old German Shepherd chipped her tooth while playing (it was totally mine fault how she chipped her tooth). I called up Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and they were VERY helpful, friendly, and understanding. I ended up getting a root canal for my baby girl and after filing the claim, which was SUPER easy, I received my payout and I honestly cannot believe how painless it was. Well, painless for me. I am sure my puppy (she will always be my baby puppy furever!) appreciated getting her tooth fixed. She had to wait about a month and a half before she had her surgery. Although she did not exhibit any discomfort, I was getting concerned if she felt any pain. Nonetheless, what a breathe of fresh air. No more stinky dog breath as she is able to brush her teeth again!! Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, we love you lots!
