Happy with my service

Great pet insurance company.

Nationwide is a terrific pet insurance company. I mail my claims and always get a notice from them within a week that they are processing my claim. My payment is directly deposited into my checking account within days. I have had the insurance for almost 2 years and they have improved their response time greatly. You are also supplied with a complete explanation of benefits. I would recommend them highly.

I have insured 4 kittens through Nationwide Pet Insurance; because of this insurance, we've been able to provide and pay for excellent care for them, including compassionate end-of-life care in the worst of circumstances. We currently have 90% coverage with an annual $250 deductible, including wellness visits, which is indispensable when raising a new kitten (checkups, vaccines, medicines, even spay/neuter costs are all covered). I file claims through the VitusVet app, which makes the claims process simple, straightforward, and—most importantly—incredibly fast, and the direct deposit reimbursement means I'm not left waiting for a check in the mail.

Excellent coverage and service

We have been insured by Healthy Paws for 2 years. We’ve got 2 cats and a dog and our experience has always been nothing short of 10 stars. Healthy paws make filing claims really easy, and the majority of the time claims are settled within a day or so. Their customer service team are easy to get a hold of (I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to speak with someone) and they genuinely care about the pets that they cover. We had a tragedy fall on us recently when our eldest cat Nelson was hit by a car. He ended up needing surgery for a shattered pelvis and a fractured foot, and suffered a couple of complications in the weeks following. Of all the worries that we had, one thing that we did not have to worry about was his coverage. Healthy Paws covered the majority of the bills and made the whole process as easy as possible. They even sent me a follow up email a few weeks later asking how he was doing. Thankfully, he’s making great steps in his recovery and should be back to full strength in the next few months.
