CHOOSING ASPCA PET HEALTH INSURANCE
Customer service was excellent and filing a claim online and direct deposit made things simple. Aspca has updated its insurance policy to include a special monthly fee for wellness visits. I thought this was a good idea. Where you live does play into what the insurance will pay back. If you live in a middle class or affluent area, vet prices are much higher than what the insurance base will pay.

Fantastic insurance!
Yes, it is frustrating to have to pay up front, especially on some costly bills we have had, however, this gives me peace of mind we can go anywhere and still have most of her emergency/unexpected visits covered in addition to full coverage on routine care. We plan to enroll our dogs when we get them too! Customer service and reimbursement are both timely!

Best Medical Insurance in Our Household
Nationwide far surpasses our human medical insurance for both services and claim processing. Service goes beyond their excellent and well-informed telephone representatives. The vethelpline is not only informational but their follow-up email summation of a conversation is perfect for sharing with a local vet if needed. When submitting a claim online or by fax and using their automated deposit process claim payments are usually deposited into my bank account within a week. (The most current claim was a record 3-1/2 DAYS!)

Best pet insurance ever.
Vets are expensive. Whether you’re going in for vaccinations, stool sample, medications... you name it — the bill can be ridiculous. With nationwide pet insurance, I don’t worry about those things anymore. When I feel my dog needs to see a vet, nationwide makes it easy to feel comfortable taking her in and not worrying about the bill. They make it ridiculously easy to submit a claim. All you do is send a copy of your receipt, receive a confirmation email that your claim has been submitted and in a few weeks you have a check in the mail. It’s so simple. I love my dogs pet insurance so much, I’m actually considering switching my auto and renters insurance over to nationwide. I had an extremely bad experience with State Farm and if nationwide is half as good at auto insurance as they are for pet insurance... sign me up. 10/10 would recommend.
