Excellent service from Trupanion
Trupanion is a great company to work with. Their policies are straightforward and easy to understand. They process claims very quickly and are always pleasant on the phone if you need to talk to someone. Also, and maybe even most important, the premiums are affordable! All 3 of our dogs were seniors at the time we enrolled them.

BEST insurance EVER! Worth every penny
My bluetick Ruby, has had a rough patch THIS last year and Nationwide has been INCREDIBLE! Quick payment and the ease of submitting a claim is awesome! We love the Vitus vet app. I'm so thankful UCHealth offers this as a benefit for their employees at a great rate! THANK YOU!!

Pet insurance is a must have!
We purchased pet insurance for our little girl soon after we adopted her (5 yrs. ago) and luckily have never had to file a claim until recently. Since it was our first, I spoke with an agent who walked me through the online process and it was an ease. After filing, I rec’d a confirmation and was able to track progress online. Within a couple of weeks I rec’d my check and it covered 75% of the bill! Insurance is one of those funny things in life. You forget it about it until you need it and when you do, you hope that it’ll work for you and in this case it did for us. I’m thankful for Nationwide and glad I had the foresight to purchase it years ago.

Highly recommended Pet Insurance for my rabbit with Intestinal blockage.
My rabbit had urgent Gastro intestinal blockage which I was unable to treat with home meds and fluids. I took her to a 24 hour hospital which helped clear her stomach and then get her stable. I also had to take her to another vet the following day. I submitted the claims to the insurance and the reimbursement came timely. I was able to upload the claim documents and attachments easily and there was nothing more for me to do. Better insurance than my own health insurance, which I also had gone through several iterations of submitting the claim and received much less reimbursement as they said it was out of network. I am very happy I have nationwide pet insurance for my two rabbits and I would recommend it for others as well. It makes their health decisions much easier and is easier to care for an ill pet knowing I have insurance to back me up.

Painless and FAST claims experience
We have 5 animals insured with Nationwide and over the last 5 years, we have had to file 2 major claims. Both claims have been very fast and efficient. It took maybe 5 minutes to file the claim and we got reimbursed within a week. This last time, in particular, was very fast. I think from the date I filed the claim, I recieved payment in 2 days. Thank you Nationwide.
