The Best Pet Insurance I have ever had!
I am so happy that I chose Nationwide for my pet insurance. My dog was diagnosed with Cancer in 2019 and Nationwide has covered every claim for her with no questions asked. Payments were super quick and forms were easy to complete right from my app on my phone. I wouldn't have been able to keep my girl healthy without having this pet insurance. Thank you!

Takes Way Too Long for claim
Takes frustratingly long for a claim to be reviewed. Going on a month and a half of 2 claims pending. Even more info was requested and immediately sent. No response of received given. Called for them to say they could not view images, sorry, need to resend. Sent hard copies, received, and still another 2 weeks. Over $1000 in claims pending. But don’t worry, they’ve taken my $52 payment without Issue for 3 months

Amazing customer service
Health Paws insurance company has been amazing. I have submitted claims in the past and they were always processed in a timely manner. This company also cares about your pet. They always ask how she is doing when I call and send emails asking how she is doing. I wish I could give them a rating higher than 10 because they truly deserve it.

Great Insurance
Overall, I am very pleased with Nationwide Insurance. I have been a loyal customer for almost 16 years. We currently have three dogs insured. Submitting a claim is so easily done online. They usually pay relatively quickly. Depending on the plan, the reimbursement rate is pretty good. One of my dog’s just had a tumor removed from her lip and the bill was over $700. After the insurance reimbursement it ended up costing us about $75 out-of-pocket. I give that two thumbs up. My neighbor has a different pet insurance for her dog and they reimburse hardly anything. I would definitely recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to a friend or family member. They may not be the cheapest but when you need it, it comes through. You want an insurance you can rely on.

Nationwide is absolutely wonderful in all aspects.
Nationwide makes filing claims easy, there is a quick turnaround for payment, and customer service representatives are knowledgeable, understanding, and pleasant. There is not a long wait time when calling. Premiums are reasonably priced.

Little higher premium than other Pet insurers, but the ease of filing a claim and the level of coverage can’t be beat. Files are paid quickly and go right into my bank account.

You guys are seriously the best!! I downloaded the virus app on my phone and the ease of filling a claim is awesome! Great customer service and I've never had a problem getting quickly reimbursed. My dog has better health insurance than I do, which is sad!! I refer Nationwide to anyone who has a pet because they are that awesome. I should be a spokesperson for you guys because I tell every vet I go to to recommend your company to all their clients!! Bravo Nationwide!!!

Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance!
This company has hands down the best customer service! They make it stress free and easy to file a new claim. The process of claims are around 3-10 days and any coverage that is owed back to you is in your account within a few days. Our puppy was sick and they even reached out to ask how he was! What insurance company does that?!! None! I’m so impressed that they even care and check in with their clients. If you have a pet get insurance and use Healthy Paws, you will not be let down! They have my business forever more!

Reimbursement isn't what you think
I must admit, Healthy Paws claim submission is very simple and customer service will get back with you fairly quickly. What I didn't like is, that instead of Healthy Paws giving me my reimbursement in monetary form, they took it upon themselves to give me my reimbursement by adding it to my next premium. This is not what was told to me prior to me signing up with them. You pay all this money monthly and you cant get your reimbursement back in hand. So in other words, "Healthy Paws will NOT reimburse. They will always keep their monies within their company!" Not a happy member at this time.

Very easy, very quick!
This process was so easy, and so fast. I submitted my claim on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, and still received the completion of my claim in less than 4 days, and the money reimbursed was in my account the day after. I am extremely impressed and so happy that I chose Trupanion. My only complaint is that I wish exam fees were covered - but hey, nothing is perfect!
