First claim - smooth as butter

This was the first event in 4 years for my very active Terrier mix. I submitted my claim (online) the day I received my vet bill post-surgery. HealthyPaws was responsive, asked the vet directly for the medical history which was submitted promptly (thank you) and HealthyPaws direct-deposited the expected reimbursement within a couple of days to my bank account. Such peace of mind having this insurance to back up my decisions regarding medical care.

Claim for TPLO Surgery

Healthy Paws was prompt with the processing of my claim for my Yorkie's TPLO surgery. They also sent the refund check quickly and I had no problems with the claim at all.

Great partner

We have had Healthy Paws insurance since my German Shephard was 1 year old. He was healthy until a month ago (he just turned 12 years old). We found a tumor on his spleen, and because we have Healthy Paws Insurance we were able to make a quick decision on giving him an emergency surgery. Without the surgery, we will not know whether the tumor is cancerous or not. Even though his outcome is not what we hope for, giving him a chance and us extra few months with him are well worth it! The claim process is so easy and fast. It did not add any financial burden on us when we needed them the most. Highly recommend them.

Amazing

Let me tell you that getting the quote, payment and claims done is so easy. I have been with other pet insurance in the claim process was just hard and most of the claims would get denied because you would need to provide more paper work. It just got tiring and I didn't see any benefit to having it after all the money I was spending every year. Lemonade has great rates and its worth the money.

Excellent service- highly recommend!

Pet Insurance That takes Care Of You And your Pet

I found out about Nationwide Pet Insurance through an extra benefit that was being offered through our benefits at my place of employment. Needless to say I jumped at the opportunity and added Nationwide Pet Insurance as a part of my benefits because at the time we had two cats in our home at that time. Knowing the importance of taking care of your pets and their health is important to any pet owner. Each year we take our pets in for their check ups and when it is done I have filed a claim through Nationwide and in just a very short time when nationwide has received my claims and processed in just a few days I have received a check to my bank to help with the expense. We recently went through the process with Riley who is five and is a real sweetheart. I am just amazed hour quickly how everything is done and we will continue to do so with each visit we take our cats to our veterinarian whether for a check up or illness. Ease of claim!!

My youngest cat Hudson unfortunately passed away. We had a few vet expenses including his cremation. In less than a month the insurance claim was approved. The claim process was very easy. I am grateful to have chosen Metlife for my cats.

Dissatisfied

Embrace says it's a 30 day review period. It's not. Took at least 60 days. They also had wrong diagnosis on the review. Really hard to get through on phone. I paid one year in full. Asked for money back and only received partial return of money. They said I was insured during that time but policy says not insured until review is completed in 30 days. Took 60 days, no claims made, no insurance and only partial return. They are shady.
