WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
I try to answer all of these Nationwide follow-ups post Ms. Doobs having a puppy crash, or yacking what's left of the sofa everywhere (okay, she did not eat the sofa), although perhaps it's beginning to sound like a broken record, but here goes: Pet insurance of any variety offers peace of mind, but Nationwide excels at plans, no sneaky clauses, paying claims under the policy (e.g. after deductible met, a covered illness or incident -which for us, so far, is just about everything) and paying these claims, remarkably fast. As in Mel Gibson's draw at the poker table in the remake of Maverick, fast. (Jody Foster, "Was that fast? I think that was fast.") Now having the option to get reimbursed directly to our bank account, is one less step in my life, the consequence of which is, more time for the Doobster, who is now trending in her terrible twos. Thanks, Nationwide. I recommend you to everyone.

Easy and fairly quick to pay
I have been very impressed with Nationwide Pet Insurance. They are easy to deal with and fairly quick to reimburse me for my payments to the vet. I have the Whole Pet wellness policy. The only disappointment is that they don't help pay for supplements but they have taken care of about everything else!

Great claim processing
Nationwide claims are processed easily, quickly and accurately. The only wish I would have is to be able to submit the claim through the web portal rather than the need to scan and email (or send through the postal system) the claim form. Overall the process is hassle free and I received the reimbursement quickly.

Good experience but it could be improved
I signed up for pet insurance through an employer discount. I was very impressed with the marketing material and the fact of the quick turn around time for processing claims. When I went through the underwriting review, I asked if medical records would be needed now or later. They said no records are needed and if they were, they would request them from the veterinarian. However, when I submitted the first claims, I waited 30 days only to be advised records are pended and asked me to obtain the records. I was a little disappointed and frustrated that I waited 30 days just to be told records are needed even though they could've requested it from the vet directly (I believe it is in the fine print when I signed up). I requested records and was told I needed to allow 30 days for review. 30 days came and went. I had to call several times and finally on the 4th call, it was escalated... this has been well over the 30 day period. I wasn't happy and contemplated on switching insurance companies. I really hope the claims review process can be improved upon. On the bright side, once the payment is released through Chase, it is easy to sign up and the funds are deposited the next day.

Knowledgeable Service
I get excellent service, from a cheery representative, each and every time I call. If I have to make a claim, I get my insurance payment within 2-3 weeks without hassles or problems. I never worry about my plan or making payments. I'm always kept up to date with current policies and plans. I appreciate this so much. It leaves me time to worry about my pets and their wellness.

Claim process was fast
Filing our claim and receiving reimbursement from Trupanion was like dealing with a friend who truly cared about us and our dog. The entire process was fast, kind, conversational and humane. In todays world to deal with an insurance company that lives up to its word and clearly cares about a claim is truly refreshing.

Great service and quick claim payment
I have been with the Hartville Pets health plan for many years and have insured quite a few dogs. Their service has always been great, and claim process has gotten simpler and quicker. I can not submit claims on line and the payment goes right into my account within a few days. Love this. And after a claim, I get a call from the Hartville staff to find out how my dog is doing. Very sweet.

Great To Have This
Nice having this if needed. All claims have been processed easily with the vet and payment is returned in a reasonable amount of time.
