So grateful for trupanion
I almost cancelled my policy to save $ around the holidays. Luckily, the amazing representative I spoke with told me about some simple options to lower my monthly payment and keep my coverage. Thank God he did! My almost 2 yr old lab ate a rope toy and it had to be surgically removed. It would’ve been impossible for us to come with with the $5k to pay for his surgery, but by keeping his policy we only paid roughly $1500!! The claim process was completely seemless and super fast. I also truly appreciated the well wishes for Tucker that they emailed me twice!

I would appreciate getting more timely feedback due to my large expense. Recently you have been waiting the full 30 days. Or payment gets sent to the payment center and they seem to hold it a while until I'm notified (I'm on the direct deposity)

From Claim to Paid, in less than a week!
My little Maltipoo had to go to the emergency room with acute back pain at 3am. The doctor treated Tiger and he was released that same morning. I filed a claim that same day to reimburse me for upfront costs I paid for an after hours visit. Trupanion reviewed the claim and approved it in 3 days. I was setup for direct deposit and had funds in my account within 5 days of my claim. With a traumatic event, the last thing I wanted to worry about was the financials... and Trupanion was true to their agreement. I will be a lifelong customer with service like this! Lonnie

Great Product
We have had our pet insured with Nationwide since he was a puppy. Didn't really make much use of it in his younger years, but as he has aged, it has been very beneficial. Website is easy to use. Payments are prompt and we have had very few problems with the coverage over the past almost 10 years. I highly recommend the product.

Credit is due to my vet's office for filing my claims--they're great. I look for your email of receipt. Unless you need additional info, I receive a response in mere days--you're great!

Never have any issues
Never have any issues with any claim submissions because Pets Best always explains in detail on an EOB reason for claim $ amount & member $ responsibility. Too bad people medical insurance was this easy.

Raised rates with no notice and never responded to my request for info
They raised my rate 25% with no notice. I'm on auto-pay and suddenly I had less money than I thought that month. Lo and behold my premium was different! I sent customer service an email and two weeks later they still haven't written back. The least they can do is warn you when they are going to raise your premium, and maybe respond? I never actually used the insurance so I can't comment on that but if their response time is any indication stay away.

The initial reimbursement for the MRI and Surgery took a very long time, but after that, the coverage is being made more regularly.
