So happy we got pet insurance for our dog!
It is so reassuring and comforting knowing that we can take our dog to the vet and will get assistance in paying for the vet bill. Nationwide makes it so easy to submit claims and super easy to get payment back! Best move ever.

Everything is so easy and great with Nationwide. Sending in claims via email and receiving direct deposit payments are fantastic. I have had zero trouble with the insurance, although I do wish we didn't have to use it with our dog. He has been very challenging, but well taken care of. Thank you Nationwide!

i HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws, without them I wouldn't of been able to get my dog the surgery he needed
My dog had eaten a stuffed pumpkin toy and needed surgery to remove it. Luckily I had decided to get pet insurance thru Healthy Paws a few months earlier after someone had suggested it. The surgery was $5000 total and Healthy Paws was even able to do a direct pay of their portion straight to the vet so I didn't have to come up the full amount all at once and then wait to get reimbursed. The whole process went so smooth, all I did was email the estimated bill to Healthy Paws and then they dealt with the hospital directly and everything was paid for by the time my dog was discharged. I HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws!!

No better insurance than Trupanion
I'm extremely pleased with my experience from getting a preapproval for the procedure to paying the vet directly. It is worth the every penny having the peace of mind knowing I don't need to front the cost and them waiting to be reimbursed.

Great plan; would be better if it could be paid directly by insurance vs. having to cover costs out of pocket.
The insurance is solid. I believe there are some plans that allow for payment to be paid directly to the provider by the plan first. This avoids the owner having to pay out of Pocket. Not sure how this works but would allow for greater flexibility and would probably increase those getting covered.

They keep their promises!
I have made a handful of claims and almost everything I expected was covered! My dog has had some issues and I was worried I would have trouble getting things covered, but they always came through. Only complaint is that it takes a while (6-8 weeks or so), especially on big claims, for the money to come through.
