Amanda was very polite. She made the entire process very easy and made it very clear I did not have to just accept the policy as is. I accidently blocked her voice mail and she called back right back which was great because I did not have to call her.

Claim for cat Jerry
Had to bring our 2 year old cat Jerry to the emergency vet when he stopped eating and was throwing up. He ended up with a hairball blockage that the vets were able to resolve. It was very easy to submit our claim and communicate with Pets Best. I highly recommend them as your pet insurance!

denied reimbursement for something i was covered for
I was covered for pet x-rays. When I filed my claim it was denied. I filed for an appeal and they said they never recieved it. I am just cancelling. Terrible.

Exceptionally slow claims processing
We selected Pets Best at the recommendation of friends, who said they were fast and easy to work with. This hasn't been our experience unfortunately. So far we've submitted 2 claims but both have taken a very long time to be resolved (2nd one has been pending for a month).

Complete information makes all the difference!
I've had great results obtaining reimbursement when I am sure to submit the past 6 months of vet records along with invoices and claim information. It didn't go as well with the approach of "Don't have it? No worries, we will reach out to your vet." Those claims got denied most of the time. So, when you submit everything up front, and each item as its own claim, they do deliver and I'm happy to say that I've renewed the annual plan for both of my dogs.

Easy Experience
I’ve always had an easy experience. Claim process is easy as pie through the app. Same with getting reimbursed. Everything is streamlined and rarely have to talk to people. It’s great and I always recommend ya’ll to other pet people.
