Ollie’s Cancer Hemangiosarcoma

I was devastated when my fur baby, Ollie, was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer called hemangiosarcoma. I know I will do everything I can to help him live longer, even though his diagnosis has a poor prognosis. Healthy Paws has kept my hopes afloat and is always there to provide financial assistance for my baby’s surgery, chemotherapy, medications, and numerous vet visits. Without Healthy Paws, I could never have managed the financial responsibilities involved. Submitting bills via email is easy; they respond quickly and send the checks in just a few days. I can’t thank Healthy Paws enough for their excellent service to my two fur babies when they needed help. I have told all my friends and coworkers to get Healthy Paws as their pet's insurance. Pets Best saved our cat & our savings!

Without Pets Best insurance we would not have been able to afford the care needed to save our dearly loved cat. She's basically our baby and knowing that we could rely on Pets Best allowed us to prioritize her care and follow the recommendations of the medical professionals who treated her.

Sandi's Story

"In October, my sweet rescue dog, Sandi, was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. She went through all kinds of diagnostic tests, and various medications have been tried to slow down the disease. Thanks to Pets Best, I have never hesitated to take Sandi to my amazing veterinary clinic, Las Sendas Animal Hospital and Grooming, nor had to decline a medication because it wasn't in my budget. Pets Best has been there to support Sandi and me through all of the medical procedures. The claims process is speedy and the turn around for reimbursement is short. We are so appreciative of that! Sandi has been having fluid injections twice a week since October, and she is doing well. The veterinarians and the techs and staff at Las Sendas Animal Hospital and Grooming truly love Sandi, and she gets outstanding care there. She has her good days and bad days, but she still loves her walks and chasing birds in the yard. Thank you, Pets Best, for giving me more time with the dearest dog in the world. Easy and fast

"An absolutely AMAZING company. It is The Best. Multiple policy options are available with very competitive premiums. Claim processing couldn't be easier and transparent. And as an added benefit, if there is a need to call the customer service line, you actually talk to a real person who is friendly, competent, knowledgeable and helpful in resolving ANY issue. Healthy Paws is amazing!

I got healthy paws insurance when I adopted my dog five years ago, he has had two major things happen over those years, including swallowing something that poisoned him and required hospitalization and a blood transfusion. They provide very fast reimbursement payment for everything that they cover (our policy they pretty much cover everything except for an office visit fee). Their app is so easy to use for uploading invoices and documentation. Their customer service is excellent, they follow up to ask how your dog is doing. Highly recommend.

Cancer treatment and follow up.

My cat was diagnosed for brain cancer and was treated about 3 months ago. The diagnosis process was long and difficult, and the treatment took 5 weeks after that. Pets Best was great the entire way. I recently took him for a follow up exam and tests. All results were great and he is doing well, and pets best had processed my claim and issued a payment within a week of my submitting the claim. It was a great experience. If it wasn't for pets best, I wouldn't have a happy healthy kitty at home who is able to enjoy life.

Miracle puppy

Our Bruce was dying from heatstroke when brought in to MarQueen Vet Hosp. The doctors took very good care of him and gave him a second life. Kudos to all the dog caretakers as well. Both MD s n technicians updated us every day for Bruce’s progress. This happened when we were out of the country and God knows how blessed and grateful we were during those difficult times.. METLIFE insurance also did an excellent job in responding to our claim!!! Thank you all do much!

Handled with Care

I recently submitted claims that were unfortunately about the untimely passing of my beloved pet. In difficult times like that, the last thing I wanted to deal with was pushback or back and forth from an insurance company - luckily with Pets Best, everything was easy. I was able to quickly submit the claims, forward records, and receive my pay out all without having to get on the phone and haggle and explain details of a deeply tragic and sensitive topic. My claims were processed quickly, and they even took it upon themselves to reimburse and prorate my payment for the month that my beloved pet had passed without even having me ask. Attention to detail like that is such a welcome experience. I will be recommending Pets Best to everyone I know with a fur baby

Disappointing claim service

They rejected a claim because they hadn't received past vet records, though we had sent them. I re-sent and they said they had received would review and expedite claim. That was 7 weeks ago, after I was told that now they did have the records. They just keep saying the same thing and do nothing. Very disappointing.
