Look anyway else but embrace!! Horrible!
Was denied as I was told a tumor is the same as dry skin/allergies. I was informed Danielle was the tech who reviewed my request and she would call me within 48 hours. That was Wednesday 12/17 and it’s now Saturday 12/20 with no update. My vet sent over all the previous docs, notes & recommendations she still no update. I should have listened to my vet when they told me to look at a different company for insurance as they’ve heard horrible stories with previous clients!

Pumpkin is the Best
Pumpkin is the Best! Their associates are very attentive and my claims are processed so quickly. Having such a company that works with you rather than against is a wonderul plus. I highly recommend Pumpkin to all new puppy owners. Bark Bark (Toby's input)!

Kevin Rentch, the associate answering my call, was knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions. Finding the exotic pet insurance was the most difficult part!! I am so greatful to have found Nationwide Exotic Pet coverage! Who knew a rabbit was exotic!

Nationwide paid out on our sick dog
Nationwide paid out on our sick dog, who became ill like a month after I signed up with NW. The only issue I had was communication was difficult. It did take them about 30 days to payout, but they came through in the end, even when I had to put my dog down. Which was awful.

Great pet insurance
I had multiple experiences using my pumpkin insurance policy, friendly and fast customer service. ( You actually can speak with a real person!!) A new feature they offer is get paid before you pay the vet, which you don’t actually get paid before the vet. They will reimburse you quickly after, once you submit the paid invoice (if you have a pre auth.) which was confusing and contradicting. However being able to pre authorize treatment was helpful and moved the reimbursement process along quickly. I will not go without pet insurance and am happy with pumpkin insurance group! Would most defiantly recommend and have!

The worst
The worst. Pets Best policy goes up multiple times per year, and each time it's a 20% increase, all while filing no claims or having NO reimbursements. But when filing a claim for a sickness it gets denied or they cover nothing. There are no customer loyalty benefits, like discounts for being a customer for multiple years. I'm sure when I really NEED this insurance they won't be there for us. I'll be shopping for other insurance from a place that actually cares, and that actually pays back when our dogs fall ill with stomach issues.
