Great Pet Insurance
I was happy and very pleased with the reimbursement I received for my chihuahua's medical treatment. I was kept updated via emails on the claim's process. Customer Service was courteous and helpful in assisting me with any questions I had. This is my first claim with Pets Best. Being on a budget, I feel confident that my little furry rescue is covered for me to hand his medical expenses. Thank you!

What happened to Pet's Best customer service?
We had been happy with Pet's Best, and had wellness and illness/accident insurance for the great dane we rescued. He was heartworm positive, and full of worms, but is doing much better now. But in Oct, we got him neutered and when put under anesthesia, the vet could see he had many damaged and infected teeth, so 6 were extracted. We had met our $1000 deductible with Pets Best, and so everything should have been covered at 90 percent. It took MONTHS to even finally be able to submit the claim. Their website and app continually crashed after inputting all the data, and the phone lines hung up on me every time. Finally I emailed all the documents. They received it, because that's the date they used for opening the claim, but they didn't read the doctor's notes, they didn't contact either my regular vet or the vet that neutered him, or me, before denying the claim for lack of documentation. Now, they are supposed to be reopening the claim, but I still haven't seen any of the about $750 they owe me.

My experience with Metlife is overall much less stressful than not having insurance
My experience with Metlife as a customer has been extremely good, rating the customer service knowledge from the time/processing and fairness of claims. I have very good perceptions of service with Metlife. The service turned out to be exactly what was explained, clear and easy to apply guidelines.

BAD BAD BAD
EVERYTHING TAKES AT LEAST TWO SUBMISSIONS, SOME FIVE. I SEND IN FIVE CLAIMS TOGETHER AND THEY PROCESSED TWO. THEY DIDNT DENY THE OTHERS, THEY JUST IGNORED THEM. THIS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. I WAS ALSO TOLD MY DEDUCTIBLE WAS MET (AS REFLECTED IN THE APP) … LATER THE SYSTEM SHOWED IT WASN’T BY AN AMOUNT ONLY TO HAVE THAT AMOUNT (OF UNMET DEDUCTIBLE) INCREASE LATER. FRIENDS HAVE SIMILAR ISSUES. I KNEW THIS REVIEW WOULD BE BAD AND DIDNT WANT TO POST BUT SINCE THIS IS THE FOURTH REQUEST, I DECIDED TO POST SO THE REQUESTS STOP

I submitted my first claim and was impressed
I submitted my first claim, wondering if I was going to be disappointed in Spot, but was very pleasantly surprised. Spot took my claim and within a few days they acknowledged my claim. A few days later my reimbursement check was in my mailbox. I highly recommend Spot Pet Insurance. My dog, Riley and I are impressed with Spot.
