Very Lengthy Review Process

When our cat was sick, we were told by the vet that all signs point to stomach cancer and that without extremely invasive surgery, he probably only had a month or two left. He was in rough shape when we rescued him from the shelter, so we opted to make sure he spends his last weeks in comfort instead of in surgery. Paying for this visit to the vet really set us back financially. It was a risk to get pet insurance, but after that visit, we were glad we had it. Unfortunately, this case was under review well past four weeks, even though I had submitted all papers from previous vet appointments that I was initially told to submit. When I repeatedly called to inquire, I was told they still needed more information from the vet and that the case was transferred to a different department. After more than two months, and two more phone calls, I was told I needed to submit adoption papers. This was not only ridiculously excessive, but I only learned about this because I took the initiative, making multiple phone calls. I'm convinced that if I hadn't taken action, this case would never have been resolved. Fortunately, our cat has been holding on longer than anticipated, seemingly happy, though he's definitely not the cat he once was. We know every day he's still with us and purring that it won't be long until he lets us know it's time. We hope to let him go peacefully and at home, though we know a vet's services of this sort are pricey. And even though Nationwide claims to cover this, I have a feeling we may not see any kind of money back from this for a long time, and this only adds to our concerns for the near future. I hope to be proven wrong.

Glad to have Nationwide on my side!

Nationwide has always been there for us. Our guy gets sick often and top that off with seasonal allergies. Once I submit a claim I am given specific details on everthing being done on their side. I will always use Nationwide for our Victorian Bulldog.

Best Pet insurance ever

This is the best pet insurance ever. The representatives call to make sure that our Husky is doing fine or what they needs to do more to secure his well being and recovery. They always make sure that Starkey is recognised. Thanks for everything, Jerry M.

Nationwide is Amazing!

I am very impressed with Nationwide Pet Insurance. I use Nationwide for my house and car insurance so when we added 2 basset hounds to our family I reached out to Nationwide for pet insurance. Nationwide processes our claims very fast and has reimbursed us for every claim. They have amazing customer service members that help answer all of my questions and I feel Nationwide really does care about our pets. I am very impressed!! I recommend Nationwide to all of my friends!

Great Coverage; Great Monthly Premium

I have had nothing but positive exceptional coverage and services from Nationwide. The coverage is exceptional, the premium is reasonable, and the speed in which I am reimbursed for my out-of-pocket covered costs is very good. I would recommend Nationwide to anyone that wants to have piece of mind when it comes to their pets.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Do not purchase this insurance they do not care nor do they help! Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with

This is by far the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. My puppy is 1 year and 4 months all claims have been denied by this so called caring company. I was laughed at when trying to appeal the denial of the claim which is possible cancer. Now I’m stuck with thousands of dollars in vet bills and to be laughed at by the agency is just outrageous I can not express enough on how disappointed I am with this company!!!!

Easy claims and quick payment

I picked ASPCA after doing a lot of research on which companies are the most reputable and pay claims with minimal hassle. After I had to make my first claim (surgery for an unexpected brain condition!), I spent less than 20 minutes filling out forms and getting medic records sent, and the money was direct deposited in my bank account in less than 2 weeks. Customer service was always helpful and friendly. I would recommend ASPCA to anyone looking to insure their pet.
