Kind of a hassle

Baxter had a urinary crisis at the end of May. I submitted my claims on May 27 and they weren't completed until around August 10th. The delay was the review of medical records. They were requested and submitted in June, yet I was told 2 times that they were behind and the claim kept being pushed back. It was very frustrating. I was ready cancel my policy, but one of your supervisors came thru and saved the day. She contacted the medical records department and was able to get my claims taken care of in a couple of days. She even called my back as she said she would!

Higher Annual Reimbursement?

Your customer service agents are very professional and I have no issue with your claim processing time and overall administration. You have been very helpful in helping me pay for Sophie's cancer treatment. But from talking to other pet owners who have pet insurance, it seems that some other companies have higher reimbursement rates than you do. That could be an issue with me for any future pet I might adopt.

Phenomenal service!

I couldn't be more pleased with the excellent response and customer service from Nationwide related to Onya's claim. The turnaround time from claim to direct deposit of reimbursement was about 3 weeks I will absolutely be renewing my pet insurance for Onya and Ruby, for as long as they are with me, and will enroll any future furbabies with Nationwide. And I'm very impressed also that Nationwide followed up to ask how Onya was doing. Excellent job Nationwide!!! MY health insurance should be so good!!

Difficult to work with

It's challenging to work with Nationwide pet insurance. I only have insurance with them because it's the only pet insurance through my work. It takes way too long for them to process a claim and if you have any questions, their customer service isn't helpful.

Assures medical treatment for my furbabies

A number of years ago our cat needed cancer surgery and I had to take a loan for the $3,500 in medical expenses. Ever since then I have insured all my pets. Most years I have no claims, because they have been healthy. But some years I have used it. Recently my cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. The medical bills climbed to over $1,500. I was able to give him the one-time radioisotope treatment that should last for the rest of his life, knowing that my ASPCA insurance would help with 80% of the expense. My cat was treated and is now back to his healthy rambunctious self. ASPCA insurance has always been there when needed and my pets get the medical treatment that they need. The folks at ASPCA are always helpful and have checked up on Charlie a number of times in the past few months. Claim are easy to file and I will continue to insure Charlie through ASPCA.

Impressively responsive, polite, honorable and fair customer service.

Trupanion provided my dog, Scooter, and me superb customer service. The employees of this company have proven to be prompt in responding to my inquiry and claim. They have been polite, thorough, fair and, most importantly, true to their word in honoring our contract. I remain very impressed by Trupanion. THANK YOU ALL!!

Delivered on their promise!

My dog suddenly became sick and I took him to an emergency vet. To my shock, my pet had been sick for a long time but never showed signs as he was always happy and playful and looked healthy. After tests had been run and an over night stay at the vet clinic, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my pet down. The last thing on my mind was having to deal with the financial side. I simply submitted my claim to PetsBest and they handled the rest. I did not contact them to cancel my policy but during the process they took care of that and even refunded payments that were made after the passing of the my pet. I would of course rather still have my beloved pet with me, but based on the policy I had with them, they delivered on their promise. The claim process was very easy, and they were great about keeping me informed on the status of the claim and when payment was made. I would definitely recommend PetsBest and will be using their services in the future with my next pet!

The employees working for Nationwide are very friendly , kind, and knowledgeable.

Best dog insurance ever

Pets best insurance is amazing. My dog was recently ill and they covered the costs with no problem. Every time I called they were warm and caring and so helpful. I have referred them to friends and everyone I know feels the same. I can’t say enough about them.
