Very thankful.

I was skeptical at first with purchasing any insurance for my rescued dog, but am very glad I went with Nationwide. They are very prompt in reviewing my claims and keeping me informed as to the status. Having this insurance, I do not worry about the cost or hesitate to give my dog the care he needs.

Easy claims process, valuable coverage

We never fear going to the vet knowing we have an insurer that is responsive and the costs are reasonable. We are on our third dog and all have had coverage that has been very helpful alleviating costs for small things like ear infections to big things like pancreatitis. We're please with the service we're received from Nationwide!

Amazing claim services and help for my pet

When I have had issues with claims they were very helpful and when my pet got sick and we were concerned for parvo I was happy to have them in my back pocket to make sure I could provide care for my puppy

Best Customer Service

Honestly I have worked with a few other pet insurance companies and this one is the best. They have the clearest reimbursement policies and best customer service right from the beginning.

Long waiting period for reimbursement

I recently got this pet insurance with the wellness plan added for my dog, and I am surprised at how long it takes to get a reimbursement check or anything notifying me that the claim is in progress. Is there any way I can know that a claim is pending? Or do I just have to guess? Of course the first year having a dog is the busiest because we've been going to numerous appointments every month. I think uploaded 4 claims and only got 1 check back. Please let me know if there is any way of me finding out if they are pending? Through the app?

Excellent

Nationwide has made my life stress and worry free during the 1st year of my puppy. After having to put down my last dog because I couldn’t afford emergency surgery, I knew I needed insurance. My new puppy has had the worst of luck making her first year difficult (and expensive) but because of her insurance I knew that she would be able to get the care she needed when she needed it. I always recommend nationwide to any pet owner I run into!

A great help

My cat got a sick and needed xrays/ultrasounds to check for any blockages. I wouldn't have been able to afford the bills completely on my own so it was nice to know there was something coming back to ease the blow. Glad I had made the choice to get pet insurance when I did. Any time I've had questions, the customer service reps have always been kind and helpful.

It's Not If Yu Need It, It's When You Need It

I have found ASPCA insurance to be the best. I tried VIP. With every claim to VIP it was a battle. Always a rejection, delay or a reason why it was not covered. I have had the total opposite with ASPCA. Claims are paid smoothly and efficiently. If there is something I don't understand or need an explanation it is done courteously. After every claim I receive a follow up call and wellness check.
