I was told that adopting dogs has its caveats as they will most likely have health issues. That's why my husband and opted to get full coverage for both of our adopted dogs. One of them has serious dental issues due to being malnourished as a puppy in a hoarding situation, my husband and I have made taking care of this issue our #1 priority. It's comforting to know that Nationwide Pet Insurance is helping us get the care needed to help him live a full and happy life. Thank you, Nationwide! Chiquito sends doggie kisses. :)

Fast Claim Processing
My dog Jimbo went to the dentist to have a broken tooth removed. It was an expensive treatment and I was very happy when the insurance covered most of it (which I did not expect) and the claim was handled quickly. I have recommended ASPCA to other pet owners.

Unprofessional on the phone
I was recently forced to switch to pets plus us because PC pets was not renewing or offering pet insurance anymore. I called them to see how the transition was going to take place. They told me that my account would debited on the 23rd of every month. I have a special account for bills only to keep track of stuff. That was fine, it was actually debited on both the 22nd and 23rd. I was not notified that I needed to have double the payment available even after verifying everything on Monday the 20th. So because I was not aware that I needed to have extra money in my account I will receive an NSF charge. They said that they would reimburse me because it was their fault within 7-10 business days which is unacceptable since it’s not a claim it’s their mistake. If I did not pay my insurance on time and waited 7-10 business days would my pet still be insured? I asked to speak to a manager and the girl that I spoke with hung up on me and I’ve yet to hear from a manager. Not the best way to start, I will be looking for a new company that doesn’t hang up on their customers:)

I highly recommend Embrace pet insurance
I have had Embrace for my 5 year old Aussie for the past 4 years and just got my 6 month old puppy a plan as well. They have always been wonderful in their customer service, reinbursement speed and reimbursement without any hassle. I also work in the canine rehab industry and have had no issues with Embrace reimbursing my clients very quickly and easily for my services.

I have been pleased with the service I have received to date. This is my third dog to have Pet Insurance and it works well. I particularly like the ability to submit claims online. They are processed and the funds deposited in my checking account directly.
