Immense Gratitude
When my sweet whippet suffered a brutal raccoon attack, I rushed her, bleeding and shaking, to the emergency vet. Because I was insured by Nationwide, the cost of caring for her was not the top consideration. She was. I knew I’d have help. And Nationwide came through for us, making me once again grateful for this insurance company. Baubo received top notch care and her wounds were healed. She’s still afraid to go into our backyard alone in the dark, and she took a lot of cuddling to stop the shaking, but we are free to do that without fear of going broke caring for her.

Simply The Best
People may complain about the cost of pet health insurance but like most insurance plans you’re thankful they’re there when you need them. I rest easy knowing that Nationwide is there for my two precious babies should something go wrong, as it did recently. Our Persian cat needed oral surgery that cost well into the 1000’s after medications and post operative care and like most of these things, it came out of nowhere and would have been a financial nightmare if we didn’t have insurance. The process of filing a claim was easy and painless beginning to end and it’s a higher piece of mind knowing Nationwide will be there for our pets.

Thanks for helping us out with a portion of our vet bills this year - every little bit helps and it makes me feel more secure knowing that I'll be able to recoup some money in the event my kitty gets sick or hurt. We love them so much and nobody should be forced to make a painful medical decision based solely on lack of funds. Between this insurance from Nationwide and a little kitty savings account fund I've socked money into from the time I got him, I feel pretty confident I'll be able to take care of whatever he may need in the future. The claims process was very easy (really my vet did everything for me, and they didn't complain so it must not have been too bad haha) and one day I got an email from Nationwide saying I had a deposit available waiting for me to claim it. I'll definitely keep this insurance policy for my cat as long as it remains available. I'm very thankful my employer offers this insurance as a benefit, otherwise I may have never really looked into pet insurance. Thanks Nationwide for your help and just how easy everything was to work with you!

A bit pricey, long wait for payment but overall a good investment if one has a needy pet.
I'm so happy I have pet insurance. This is my first dog and who knew all the things that can happen and do happen. My put was injured by the groomer and required four stitches and now she's got issues with her anal glands driven by seasonal allergies. The vet is recommending surgery ... ACK! My coverage with Nationwide has been pricey but I'm happy to know I have the added support if needed. I rated an '8' because of price and the time it takes to get payment. By the way, I've called the vet-line only once (my dog got into a Hersey Kiss and their response was go to the emergency vet. I don't know if I would call again because in my mind the delay to get through just took time from me getting my dog to the emergency vet. And, since this is my first dog, I'm not really sure what is or isn't an emergency ... of course, our fur babies just want to please and won't tell us if there is a problem, right?

Amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone
Trupanion has been amazing. Their claims review is easy, very fast, and their customer service is fantastic. They cover exactly what they say they will - no loopholes. My dog just required a 4000$ surgery for a broken tooth which took place on two different days and they paid my 90% coverage directly to hospital, including a single deductible even though it was two separate surgeries. I would highly highly recommend to anyone with a pet they love who knows they would struggle to pay a large incidental vet bill. They are always lovely to interact with over the phone as well.

Great Insurance!
PetsBest Insurance has been such a blessing for us with our 9 month old puppy. All claims are processed quickly and our payments even get direct deposited into our checking account! We have the wellness portion also so immunizations are even covered. I highly recommend this insurance for your pets.
