Fast claims processing.
The claims processing is much faster than the last few times and I appreciate that. Vets are charging crazy prices and it would be nice if they would be more transparent about what they charge and be more consistent. I'm not a fan of the way vets handle pricing (pricing does not equate to quality of care) so it's nice to be reimbursed quickly if paying exorbitant pricing

Easiest insurance claim ever!
Was the easiest insurance claim we've ever had! Fast and easy, very responsive. We couldn't be happier with our pet insurance choice.

Positive experience filing claims.
Mostly filing my claims has been a positive experience. Claims are easy to file, Pets Best is relatively quick about processing them and reviewing them. However, on one of my most recent claims, Pets Best said that nothing on my invoice was covered, although I know at least one thing should have been.

Take more than they give! Careful
Be careful signing up with Trupanion! My boy was signed up at 12 weeks and the steady policy increases have been consistently increasing every year making my plan steadily more expensive yearly! My dog rarely sees a vet so that’s frustrating! They will tell you that they are sorry, but they have no options for you to make your plan cheaper either, except for increasing your “unlimited” lifetime deductible to a value that in a lifetime your pet wouldn’t reach anyway... smoke and mirrors! So this year my plan increased by $16/ month which is nearly $200 more per year with a deductible of $500.00 ... that’s a lot of money they take until my dog is old enough to actually get reimbursed... Do your homework... look elsewhere!
