Incompete and run around so they don't have to PAY legitimate claims!

I have had nothing but a miserable experience in filing a very legitimate claim...I would never have bother with insurance if I had thought they would act just like people insurance and try to find anyway not to cover legitimate claims! NOW after over 6 weeks of useless paperwork,(I am SURE his hip dysplasia diagnosised 6 yrs ago is closely related to his paralyze laryngeal collapse..NOT!) they claim they LOST all of my documentation for the $2800 bill...just managed to find the LAST page for $26...really...do I look that stupid. And WHY can I NOT go onto the "MY PORTAL and SEE ALL my paperwork I sent??? Very convenience that I cannot prove it...miserable customer service!

Peace of mind when my dog had to go to the ER.

When my one year old German Shepherd, Hercules, required two nights of an overnight stay because of inflamed intestines (and extreme dehydration), I was able to get him the best care for his condition knowing that most of his care would be covered by Healthy Paws. When the doctor recommended a procedure on his lymph nodes I was able to answer yes without concern for the cost. Healthy Paws also helps cover his follow up tests and checks in to see how he is doing. Their customer service team really knows how to make you feel at ease because you know they’re invested in the care of your pet.

healthy paws is the best insurance ever!!!!

healthy paws is the best thing that ever happened to me and roxy!!! she had heart surgery a year ago and before the surgery could happen needed to be drained of fluid 3 separate times. That ended up being roughly about $3,000.00, the surgery was almost $7,000.00. healthy paws never asked me any questions, they paid 80% and continue to with her health issues. She has congestive heart failure and cancer, her medications are covered 80% as well. i never have to stress about being able to afford going to the vet again!!! One of the reasons I chose them is they don't have a limit!!! And their app is so easy to use, just take a pic of your invoice and submit!!! When i call they ask me how roxy is, and always to give her a hug!!! I could go on forever, my dog is my child, and without healthy paws i would have had to say goodbye to her a year ago!!! healthy paws is the best!!!

Kind and Helpful Service

When my dog was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer Pets Best helped cover the cost of her diagnosis and treatments. I received over $500 in reimbursement, allowing me to provide her with the best care possible. When she passed, they also reimbursed part of her cremation and cancelled my policy without my having to call and share the painful story. They even sent a condolences card and email. When I adopted my new dog this year I signed her up immediately. The process of filing claims is quick and easy. Reimbursement is also quick, and so far they have covered everything my plan is suppose to. I would highly recommend this company.

Disappointed

Do not send automated/ generated emails when checking on a pet. If this last claim I submitted was actually viewed you would know that I had to put down my dog, so it was very hurtful to receive an email asking how my dog is doing when she is no longer with me!

The one bright spot in a very bad time....

ASPCA insurance has provided me with great coverage and amazing customer service, especially this past month. Within the span on 2 weeks we found out one of our kittens Lily had feline leukemia, had to hospitalize her, and unfortunately had to put her to sleep. Lily was my first cat and I was a wreck during the hole process. I ended up spending the day I'd taken off from work (to grieve) working through all of her final medical bills and submitting claims. When I called ASPCA to have Lily's coverage stopped they were incredibly helpful. The first thing I heard was how sorry they were for my loss and them asking if I was ok. I couldn't believe how quickly they took care of stopping Lily's coverage (you figure since you're dealing with an insurance company the process may be a bit difficult) and I even saw a refund for the current month's fees within the week even though I hadn't even remembered to ask about it. A few days later these a representative gave me a call just to see how I was doing with everything and to offer her condolences and now (almost a month later) I even received a condolences card in the mail. Needless to say I am very happy with these guys. Shortly before all this happened I was considering whether I really needed to be shelling out money for something like this and to anyone else out there asking this question: yes, it is worth considering because you never expect something to happen, but if god forbid it does you'll be relieved to have these guys in your corner!

Great! But took FOREVER

Everything was covered that we expected and we eventually got our money back. But it took almost 6 months before we finally got the check in the mail. Multiple letters were mailed saying it was taking a long time and would be several more weeks. But overall I was very pleased with the service. Just took a while.
