Thank goodness for Pumpkin
Pumpkin has been an absolute lifesaver for us! They reimburse quickly for all visits/medications to treat non-preexisting conditions, without putting up any barriers. One time a claim was rejected due to a mistake on how it was inputted by the vet’s office on the invoice, but when I called and spoke to someone with Pumpkin, they followed up on it and called me back to let me know what I needed to do on my end when resubmitting it. Everyone I’ve spoken to there has been nothing but kind and helpful and it never takes long to reach someone. The yearly rate increase is very minimal to none, which is amazing, considering what I’ve heard about rate increases with other insurance companies. When I count my blessings, Pumpkin is one of them!

Easy to get a quote & customize…
Easy to get a quote & customize the plan, if preferred. Good communication. Fewer number of days for plan to go into effect compared to other companies. Haven’t used it yet. Today is my first day to have coverage.

SOPA NOTES AND PRE EXISTING CONDITION.
THE SOAP NOTES FOR EACH ITEM I CLAIM ARE SOOOO FRUSTRATING. THE DR'S DON'T NOTATE EVERYTHING, THEN IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THE STAFF TO SEND THEM VIA EMAIL. IF THERE IS AN INVOICE FOR MEDS THEN THERE IS A REASON FOR THEM....PLEASE STOP WITH THE SOAP NOTES. AND PRE EXISTING CONDITION... ON CAT HAS AN ALERGY THAT NEEDS MEDICINE SHE WAS ONLY 1 WHEN I SIGNED HER UP I HAD JUST RECEIVED A DIAGNOSES BEFORE I SIGNED UP FOR INSC SO I CAN NEVER GET REFUNDED FOR THAT EXPENSIVE MEDICINE. DATE OF EXPERIENCE IS THE LAST 3 YEARS I HAVE HAD INSURANCE.
