The Best Most Caring Pet Insurance Company Out There
I bought Healthy Paws insurance for my Teacup Yorkie cause it had really great reviews and previous customers said they actually pay. Other insurances I used in the past were awful but Healthy Paws for sure gets 5 stars. They were there for me for all my visits, were reasonably priced and actually paid me the 80% of what they covered. Recently my fur baby went into the hospital for a week in the critical care unit. It cost me $9000 for treatment before he came home. Healthy Paws representatives were friendly and helped me get my claims paid. I received over $7000 back. Unfortunately my baby passed away a week later, I filed his last bill which included his cremation services on the bill. Without me having to call Healthy Paws and tell them what happened, they payed my claim, sent me an email that they were sorry for my loss and went ahead and cancelled his insurance and issued a refund for that month. That meant a lot to me because it was going to be a hard phone call to make, but they were on top of things and made the process easy for me. To go above and beyond that, a week later I received a card in the mail with their deepest sympathies and a bunch of the employees signed it. Their caring and kindness meant so much to me during this hard time. The next pet I get will definitely be insured by Healthy Paws insurance!

Made things SO MUCH EASIER and saved his life
So, I am a veterinarian and for a long time didn't think that I would need pet insurance (I can do it myself!). However I had a colleague that had it on her dog that needed emergency back surgery at a specialty hospital and at that time realized that I do not do all types of medicine and maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. I got it and within a year my dog had emergency gall bladder surgery that required 4 nights in the hospital and it was amazing to say "yes!" to the treatment plan and not feel like I had to try and be his veterinarian or worry about the costs to getting him home again. From that time on I was sold, but later that year he had to have knee surgery and once again it was so easy to let them be the vets and know that he was getting the best care possible. We had a quiet couple of years, and then this year I diagnosed him with anal gland adenocarcinoma. This diagnosis has required two extensive surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy and we will keep fighting as long as he feels good but I have had complete peace of mind knowing that his insurance was there to help me help him. It has been truly amazing. They process his claims quickly and have always been so kind when I have reached out to them. I have insurance on all three of my dogs and the other two have never filed a claim, but my special boy is up to about $30,000 that Trupanion has covered and I am grateful to have them.

Wonderful service provided by ASPCA
I can not say enough wonderful things about ASPCA pet insurance! They are reliable and professional, all claims are handled efficiently and I am reimbursed quickly! They have covered all expenses my poor little lilly has incurred during her illness (which has been a lot!) They even go out of their way to follow up and make sure medications are working, etc. I would highly recommend ASPCA to anyone with pets! It's worth every penny to have your pets insured

Easy first claim experience.
Since this was my first claim, it took some digging on the website and in my bank account to determine how I was being reimbursed as well as how to interpret the claims information. Once I understood, it was very easy and next time there will be no issues for me.
