This is the first time I've had pet insurance, and glad I have Nationwide.
This is the first time I've issued a claim with Nationwide. I had enrolled with the insurance plan earlier on in the year. I was a little skeptical, but it all worked out. I understand I got paid 90% of the claim with a $250 deductible - which seems fair to me ,and which is what I got. But Nationwide was very helpful with my questions and concerns. My veterinarian is a little expensive so I was worried if I would get reimbursed to even close to what I paid - and it was pretty close. I may go back to my less expensive vet for next year though.

Nationwide Really IS on your side!
I have had Nationwide Pet Insurnce since 2016 and since, have added 2 more pets (all whom I have covered with Nationwide) Very very comprehesive covereage for your pet in any situation. In 1 major situation that had costs me over $15,000 in surgery for one of my pups, it was very helpful to have this coverage. They came through and covered it. In some cases, you have to give some some time as they are growing fast and are increasing thier staff to keep up. it can take a little more than 30 days as they need to review details on such a large claim like the one I had. smaller claims are processed within a couple of days. They cover preventative care which can be costly but it's nice to know they have your pet covered for it as preventative care can help our pets live longer, pain free lives. They cover what they say they will cover! Nationwide is a womderful company! My pets and I thank them.

Good customer service and reimbursement
I think Nationwide is a good choice of coverage. Good reimbursement and customer service. I tried Trupanion and reimbursement was $0 - always some story as to why it was not covered so I cancelled and added all of my Pets to Nationwide. I have been a customer for many years and have recommended many to you.
