Pets Best was with us.
Piper would act like he was hacking up a hairball from time to time but never did we see a hairball. After X-rays the vet said asthma was the cause. We tried a couple meds and hopefully it looks like this latest one is helping him pretty well, with attacks being much less this month, so far. (fingers crossed). All through this process Pets Best was with us, covering and reimbursing what we think is very fair and helpful. I recommend it to anyone with pets and always remember a co-worker who had a dog that needed emergency surgery months after I told them about Pets Best. But, they never got the insurance and had an almost $5000 bill for the surgery. Submitting claims is easy and website is very straight forward and simple to use. Thanks

Extremely prompt
I find that Trupanion is extremely prompt in investigating claims and fair in honoring claims in a timely manner. I've already recommended Trupanion to other people as I'm very impressed with Trupanion's service and Trupanion's policies. I have the 90% coverage policy with $1000 deductible. I have four pets currently being ensured. Prior to having pet insurance I had a pet named Lucky who was NOT very lucky at all when it came to health issues -having both cancer and kidney disease. The expenses almost put me in the poor house and I vowed that I would get Pet insurance for any future pets. Prior to Trupanion I was with another pet insurance company but their policy was not at fair as Trupanion 'so I 'made the switch to Trupanion. I'm extremely pleased to know my Pets are covered for any critical health expenses that may arise in the future for the lifetime of the pet not just on a year to year basis with a deductible each year. I currently have one sick pet but hopefully all my other pets will remain healthy and not need Trupanion!.

Trupanion is a no mess around or play games type of company. Make sure you understand when you sign up what is covered and what is not!!!! The absolutely do pay what they say they will pay for (minus your deductible ) . The claim process is easy and swift and they keep you informed of your status in the claim process. They will even set up direct deposit for your reimbursement. My claim fro the time I faxed it in until it was in my checking account was about 7 days. For a large sum of money, I am happy with that considering they had to contact my vet for information as well. It still was that fast!!!!!

Trupanion is 10 *'s in all categoies
After much research ( I am an ins agent), I selected Trupanion 9 years ago to insure my two aussie pups with Trupanion. Best decision ever. Their customer service has been A+++, their premiums very fair (they've even reduced my premium based on positive claims experiences in my policy pool), and when it came to be claim time, coordinated with my vet's office and paid within two weeks. I can't recommend enough. This insurance is doing exactly what I needed it to: it removed financial considerations from my decision making when it comes to medical issues with my pups.
