Truly Amazing
I am new to the insurance world! I did research as well as knowing people with insurance and decided to give Pets Best a try, hoping I would never need it! First off, a couple of days after insuring my new puppy I took her in for wellness and it paid immediately. A couple of months later, my new puppy had to visit the vet for some throwing up and things took a turn for the worst! We ended up having to go to a specialist who then referred us to UF. I honestly was able to make that decision with zero hesitation because of insurance (hoping it would pay of course) In those 3 days, my 4 month old puppy went into acute renal failure and ended up passing. Pets Best covered EVERYTHING I thought it would. Their customer service was amazing! I again without hesitation, got a new plan for my new puppy and this time I really hope I NEVER have to use it again. But now I can say with absolute certainty I can make a decision to save my babies life without worrying about the cost.

From ear problems to cancer.
I took in my dog Thomas because he had a hematoma on his ear. It was going to be something simple but when he was sedated they found a lump on his left front leg and on his stomach. The stomach lump ended up being cancer. Pets Best just wanted to check the previous medical records and they paid the claim. Definately recommend this company.

Amazing!
I cannot day enough great things about Figo. I have never had a policy that paid out as much as them. Having Figo was truly an added bonus after learning that my dog had a mast cell tumor in his nostril, requiring surgery. Figo is always super responsive and the money hits my checking account on no time. Highly recommended!

Great Insurance
Nationwide lives up to its claim that "it's on your side." It really was when my dog suffered a ruptured disc and required surgery and a lengthy hospitalization afterward, in addition to physical therapy. My boy is alive today because of this insurance as the cost was much more than I could have afforded without the coverage. I recommend it to all my friends and family who have pets. In fact, I am such a confirmed customer that I have covered my house and car, too.

Good coverage, high premium cost, slow reimbursement process
I appreciate the coverage provided by Nationwide Insurance. My pup has has some health challenges and I'm so happy to have the insurance coverage. That said, the premium is high. Also, when I called to chat about a change at renewal time, the representative was borderline rude. There was no 'pet friendly' conversation and basically the end result was 'you get what you get, here's your option'. I did not get an warm fuzzy but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be OR that person was having a bad day ... in the end I did renew. They were right ... I get what I pay for. Finally, why does it take almost 5 weeks to get a refund? That process timeline is frustrating and confusing. I submit quickly. I submit all my receipts with the required forms ... I pay my premiums on time and still have to wait. Hmmm ... is that was I get too? :-) I would like to say thank you for offering Pet Insurance. I appreciate the opportunity to protect my pet investment.
