This insurance policy takes almost all of the stress out of going to the vet
I was skeptical about purchasing pet insurance for our dog. I figured we were past the expensive puppy years and since she is relatively healthy, the cost may outweigh the benefits. I am so glad that we decided to pull the trigger on it last year. It has allowed us to give Luna the absolute best care each and every time we go to the vet. She had been having some issues with her shoulder and this policy made the decision to take xrays a no-brainer. She needed to have her teeth cleaned for the first time and the cost was perfectly manageable. I love knowing that I won't ever have to weigh cost when I am factoring care for her. The claims process is simple and customer service is great. We looked at virtually every policy on the market before deciding on Nationwide and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Love Nationwide Pet Insurance!
Nationwide Pet Insurance is great and makes it so easy to submit a claim. With the app, you can take a picture of your claim and you're all done. If you have questions the customer service team is very responsive and quick to help solve an issue. I have recommended Nationwide Pet Insurance to all pet owners I know. Recently my brother and sister-in-law purchased it for their dog. It allows you to put your pet's needs first, knowing that the claim will be handled properly.

Need instrucitons on how to obtain diagnosis info
Fairly easy to submit claims but I've received multiple claim responses asking for diagnosis information. When I've provided it, I still don't get the coverage. Please explain what Nationwide needs in order to satisfy the requirement and get the reimbursement. This claim has not been filed yet, trying to find out from vet what I might need. Thanks, JoLyn

They have your back during your time of need!! My Doberman had a spinal injury which required surgery and an MRI totaling $5000+. I had to submit my first ever claim for my Dobie with them on Saturday Nov 3rd and received confirmation they would be taking care of the costs outside of my deductible and co-pay by Nov 7th. So technically it took 2 business days!! Ability to have direct deposit set up means I’ll have my funds available to pay everything off well before it’s due. They give you peace of mind. Highly recommend!!

Feels like Healthy Paws is our Guardian Angel
Got our 4yr old registered with Healthy Paws when she was 1 1/2yrs old. Wasn’t until this year we needed to use the insurance. She injured her ACL and had to have surgery. Healthy Paws has been there to help not only with cost but so thoughtful checking in on how she is doing. That blew me away and felt they truly cared. And even better, before we did surgery we tried Acupuncture and it was covered. It didn’t correct her condition but it definitely helped her pain and discomfort. Thank you Healthy Paws for taking care of our Bella.
